IF he's going to GC the Hardwick template is the ideal way to do itMid season retirements so you can go to gold Coast might be becoming a Richmond tradition
Retiring now then returning next year on the GC? That would confirm his character for many people.Mid season retirements so you can go to gold Coast might be becoming a Richmond tradition
Bears will break though the Lyon defense eventually to have a good win.Bears or Saints tonight?

Leave mid season, extended break and set himself up there
Adds another year of longevity too instead of during out 10 more meaningless games now
Disagree. Brilliant and high impact in every GF he has played. There are always unlucky second placers- Danger 22. GAJ 08. Would you say Smith did not deserve his Norm? Or Hodgey the 08 one?The only Norm he deserved was the one against us. In 2017, Houli was BOG, in 2019 it was Prestia.
How did the saints fall for him twice?Ross Lyon is still cancerous to AFL. Shit football for a shit club.
Would LOVE that weak player in our team.Lachie Neale is a weak footballer.
Likes to give it, but flops as soon as anyone gives it back.
Rohan got a week a few years back for clipping him on the chin. He had it coming that night with his snide shit.
Bit like the Scarlett v Ballantyne one, a suspension that leaves you with a smile on your face.

On that subject, it got me thinking about my all time favourite Geelong suspensions.
One's that made you feel good, and couldn't care how long they were rubbed out.
1 S.Hocking on L.Matthew in 1985. Mild mannered Shocking see's red and delivers retribution. Always had a soft spot for him after that.
2 M.Scarlett on H.Ballantyne. The guy had the most punchable face in football and Scarlett couldn't resist. Respect levels went up for him across the AFL.
3 S.Johnson on S.Baker. Knew he wasn't going to play for a few weeks injured, so took a free hit on Baker and gave him a taste of his own medicine. Cold, calculated and so Stevie J.
4 G.Hocking on B.Wira. Technically got off on appeal but if someone squirrel grips you, you have right to reply with a jab to the chin.
5. G.Rohan on L.Neale. If you throw the first one, expect the reply to come back with interest. It's human nature.

His goal from 100 meters out in the stands was better.Surely Pickett deserved it in 2019 for that blind turn of the century... It was called play of the match wasn't it?
