Disagree. To play AFL at the highest level you need to be flexible and adaptable. Players get moved around all the time yet they don't stink it up in this fashion. Could you imagine a team coaches by Jack Cahill coming up with the excuses we are seeing/have seen. We would have selection issues because there would be a bunch of players out the door already

Rubbish.

How flexible is Harris Andrews? How many positions does he play?

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a more inaccurate statement than “to play afl at the highest level you need to be flexible and adaptable”

Train the house down for this one I reckon, If we win then do the same for the next and so on and so forth, No more ****ing around. Seriously though do our boys even train at all? Doesn’t seem like it, They should do skill based training everyday from now to the end of our season

I love my footy and Port and we go to every home game.

Just a month ago Port were giving away general admin tickets to the Giants game.

And now the AFL want me to pay $96 plus booking fee (=$104) to watch my team play that same team again...for a game that is broadcast live on FTA...when next to no-one from the AFL created and owned GWS will be attending?

The atmosphere at a game is a critical part of the 'product' that the AFL has sold to Channel 7/Foxtel to get the huge $$ that support the financial excesses of the AFL.

And the Saturday Night prime time finals atmosphere at Adelaide Oval is solely reliant on Port fans showing up. For that role Port fans get slugged >$100. They are taking us as mugs.

F.O. AFL.

(But I'll still be going - yep, I'm a mug).

IMO I think what this team really needs is to win a tight and intense game, Hopefully this upcoming game provides that. Flogging GWS will do nothing for this group, we need a precursor to the Collingwood game to get our players minds back in the right place

I know we’re all sick of the same sh!t and are pretty flat right now but I don’t subscribe to the theory that if we get past GWS then Collingwood winning is a forgone conclusion.

Plenty of results in history have gone the other way before.

Gws v dogs 2016
Rich v Coll 2018
Coll v gws 2019
Port v rich 2020
Port v dogs 2021

If we play how we played Collingwood last time we’d be a chance (assuming we win Saturday night).

And you get a randomly allocated seat instead of being at least near where you've chosen to spend every regular game.

Bit less overcoaching, and give the players a bit more of a leash to play their natural game, were far to defensively minded against Brisbane.
