This morning the ABC carried a story that an interstate visitor, across for the AFL Gather Round, is paying $10,000 a night to stay in a private rental in Adelaide.

Talk about a land of 'haves' and 'have nots'. While some people are struggling to find a place to live others can spend 20k on a weekend footy trip.

Well there you go it is obviously not just a rumour. I know in Queensland the Government is contemplating legislation to prevent landlords cashing in on special events.
