St Kilda will get walloped by Collingwood. They are ok with Ross but lack any sort of a grade quality at the moment to match Collingwood in full flight.

The hoohah about game of the round should be at the MCG is very optimistic.

NORTH Melbourne say Tarryn Thomas is no closer to returning to the club as a social media post places the troubled player in the spotlight again.

North says it's aware of a social media post made by Thomas on Monday night, but didn't detail the nature of the post.

The Scandals and Rumours board has a video. Driving related this time.

Big Harry McKay had his striking charge downgraded
OK to play against the Tingles

Just saw the McKay one replete with the trademark commentary dismissal "I don't think he has anything to worry about there". Likewise on the weekend Brad Johnson caught red handed by his colleagues in the foxbox as he's trying to downplay the Lynch one saying that he was nudged into Keath (he wasn't). Laughs it off saying "I was just trying to help him out!!". Yeah no shit

If it was a non-Vic club it would be "we just have to get that out of our game" or "what would we be saying if that was an inch higher or hit him harder". It's just egregious at this point, and with the AFL so obsessed with the "optics" rather than any proper tribunal setup the media portrayal of an incident has a real effect on the outcome.

Yes. Serious contact with an umpire, accidental or otherwise, has been historically been punished by the AFL; if it were a Port player, they would be fired into the sun.
Yep.

Just ask Gavin Wanganeen and Andrew Moore.

Matt Thomas copped a week for getting pushed into an ump while hard-tagging Brad Sewell.

Fair play to the league — that was the last time anyone came from directly behind the fieldy ever again.

"You let one umpire in the AFL get touched and do nothing and it's already escalated to Jeremy Cameron full on taking one down, it' won't be long before one is bashed, BASHED if they AFL don't put their foot down. We gotta stamp this out of our game."

A David King take

And look at these statistics that back it up.

If you take all the umpires that have been touched by a player, and look at how many of them have been touched by a player, its 100%. One hundred percent. Its not good enough.

According to a few on the North board it is JHF fault that Tarryn is in this mess. They are a special lot over there.

Looks more like they are blaming his manager, who is also JHFs manager

Was that him driving in his car? I saw it but didn't look at it too hard, I think he had it in cruise control and had his legs over to the passenger side or something.
