I was hoping for a win, but another loss like this is completely unnaceptable.
Out team on paper is rolls Royce but they play like a bunch of run down VK commodores.
Piss weak performace today. How this team wilts when they hear yhe word hub is laughable.
Its laughable out slogan is time yo hunt...we cant hunt jack shit.

Our results are absolutely unheard of. 2 90 point losses and back to back 10 goal defeats yet still good enough to be a game clear of 9th. There’s more to it than lack of effort, although that’s a big part of it. Because if that was solely the case you’d think at some point they’d feel shame and actually turn up.
I just don’t think we’re fit for footy. We might be able to run all day on a track or in straight lines but our collective strength and “football fitness” is non existent. That and we get in our own heads far too much in regards to where we’re playing and anything that upsets our routine.
I can’t wrap my head around our results. Sure if we were fighting it out for bottom 4 it’s understandable (although still disappointing). But we’re 7th and were thinking of an outside shot at top 4 only 2 weeks ago. Have the players just packed it in for the season? We’re clear wooden spoon quality at the moment but it’s hard to explain how or why.
Also think there needs to be some accountability for the players. Bringing all the “stars” back at once breeds a sense of entitlement and those guys being on a pedestal rather than playing as a squad.

Last season I commented on the complete lack of connection between our lines. At the time I was prepared to put it down to the Covid restrictions impacting our training and preparation.
It's starkly clear that this completely disjointed trainwreck is the actual design put in place by the coaching group. Heads have to roll, surely?
I can't actually see how we would be doing worse if we took in a colts level gameplan and just coached the team to do the football basics well. Our talent would probably carry us through a lot if they put their backs to the wheel consistently.

+ Sheppard is a club stalwart and richly deserves a premiership before he retires. Played a great game today.
+ Duggan was very sound all day and put in a shift. Same for Cole.
+ Good to see Hickey playing well still, good lad.
- Vardy and Langdon were waste of time selections. Langdon tries but that's just not enough. Can see Winder being a Round 1 pick next year.
- I daresay Sheed played one of the worst 38 touch games you're likely to see today.
- Smashed in the midfield again. Shuey lifted in the second half, but the Longmire had bolted by then.
- Injury to Jones just as a few weaker teams were coming up to fill his boots and cement a spot.

Completely out coached. Sydney had spares, overlap runners all day. Players out there didn’t have a clue what they were doing or supposed to be doing or if they did it absolutely was not working.

It is a typical nothing quote from Simpson. He states the obvious but nothing changes.
Maybe he should say: ‘I need to get better and change the game plan. I need to find a way to re-motivate the playing group.’

Worse thing is, Simpson will think Gaff missing caused us to under perform like this.
How is it even possible to have 37 disposals and rank that low?
Also, does it seem like all of Kelly's worst games have been when Shuey and Yeo are in the team. It seemed like he was actually starting to string together some good games and get his mojo back this season. But as soon as Yeo and Shuey are back he goes to being complete shithouse again.
