So the old Griffin v Clarke discussion probably needs to be had now that big Jon is ready to go again.
I'm 100% on Griff, he bleeds purple and if you saw him in the WAFL grand final last year (I think) were he almost dragged his team back into the match, you want a player out there who won't give up.No brainer griff it is if he's 100% fit. He's shows the commitment and goods . At least 2 goals player. He will keep their players honest.
Mackevoy and hale no easy beats especially when there in front of goal.
The upside with clarke is much higher or do we take a more risk adverse approach and play Griffin where you know what you will get?You won't get much more out of Griff than we've already seen. Clarke has shown what he is capable of in the first couple of months of the year. I think Clarke will play this weekend and with the allure of the GF the following week I expect him to receive a very honest discussion with RTB and will come out firing.

While outright I still think I we should persist with Clarke, maybe it's best to bring griff in now. He deserves a spot and more importantly a couple of goals from him would help against the Hawks. No brainer griff it is if he's 100% fit. He's shows the commitment and goods . At least 2 goals player. Does he really drop his shoulders or does it just appear so, in the same way Natanui looks lazy ?I'm 100% on Griff, he bleeds purple and if you saw him in the WAFL grand final last year (I think) were he almost dragged his team back into the match, you want a player out there who won't give up.
Seen Clarke drop his shoulders too much, Griff never gives up.
Just need to drag Gibson and Lake out of the back 50 and then beat them on the way back. They are not fast.
If Griffin is close to 100% fit, would definitely go with him over Clarke. You can't just magically expect Clarke to all of a sudden change from a nice guy into a mongrel.
You're right it is the same result but it's an extra kick away, so an extra 5-10 seconds to set up the zone and defend, they will know the ball is going to turn over before it does and get into position.;Pretty much the same result. Would rather someone attempt to break a tackle or kick it to space than have a long bomb onto Ballas head against Lake.
Zac's got a pea heart. Griff has heart of a lion.
Dont forget Zacs body is not 100%
Is this game still going on?
I heard its already a West Coast Vs Hawthorn Grand Final.
Whateley even said the Hawks should rest Gunston for the Grand Final.
