Ins: Taberner, McPharlin, Langdon
Outs: Mzungu, Clancee, Suban

Obviously dependent on rain and opposition. Would bring in Griff for Clarke if fit too but that's unlikely.
We need Langdons run and Tabs takes the pressure off the other Fwds in Pav and Mayne.

Hanneberry and Kennedy both went bonkers in the third. They were keeping them in it.
I was just trying to work out if he was tagging Hannebery and whether he did a good job in the first half but hanneberry got away from him in the third. Pretty sure I saw mundy on kennedy for part of the game.

At least he got 22 possessions and had an impact. Can't say that about my buddy..

Fair call, got some footy, just thought he was poor. Some ppl disagree, which is fine.
His last month been good though, just not yesterday IMO.

Barlow has to play more inside mid. It's his best position, dunno why we persist with Suban & MDB there.
Starting 4 has to be
Sandi, Mundy, Fyfe & Barlow

You'd have to think about dropping Johnson wouldn't you - sides are playing through him at the moment, he can't jump or turn - back must be worse than the club is letting on.

Injured players in finals never ends well.

Hoping pavs and fyfes injuries come good - both were getting treatment

Rumours around saying they might not get up

2 weeks is great - not looking forward to seeing the outcome if we get to the GF - will be clearly playing injured

No team is fully fit this time of year, especially Hawks/Eagles/Sydney. If they're cleared to play by the doc/physios, then play them.

Pavlich always has that machine on his achilles/calf area in games. Fyfe is the concern though, he'll probably get up for the prelim but if we win he only has 1 week to recover for the Granny. Unfortunately it's all hands on deck time.

I think the changes are obvious really (assuming fitness), reverse the two late changes and you have it.

In: Luke Mac and Tabs
Out: Clancee and Zung

If Griffin is fit I'd imagine he is a 50/50 chance of coming in for Zac as well.

Pretty much. All this talk of playing rookies with a couple of games experience is mental.

Although if Griffin is fit i'd give him a 100% chance of coming in for Clarke.

Yeah agree. Griffin however I think depends on who our opponent is. I don't think Griffin is a good matchup against the Hawks, against Adelaide much better.

If he is injured as you say we will play him on Darling ,soft as is Jack ,terrified of getting any where near a hard ball get.Soft players in finals never ends well.

Really want Langdon to be the sub for the rest of finals series. I think he will bring speed and forward thrust when brought into the game, can put him on the HBF and move Hill or Sutty up the ground for instance.

You don't think Griffin offers a more viable option to bring the ball to ground then Zac does?

I think in the ruck they are 1 for 1, but up forward they are both highly ineffectual but I think Griff has a better knack of bring the ball to ground and making a contest then Zac does which to me is a huge thing against the Hawks.

I personally think the sub role for finals is taylor made for DeBoer.

Interesting on Fyfe.....I suppose he is a "must-play" even if 50% fit....Would love to see us well enough ahead at half time that he can be subbed off :)
The other strange thought would be...If we play Adelaide, do we rest him for the GF??....Outrageous idea............or is it?? ;)!!

So next game, all these players are now in the mix :
McPharlin
Griff
Silvagni
Crowley
Taberner
And Fyfe will surely play, even on one leg he's better than most.

This list puts us in our strongest position ever, including 2013.

I think Clarke holds his spot, simply because of his potential match up with Nic Nat the week after - Sandi and Griff can't go with him like Clarke can.

McPharlin and Taberner comes in.

Unlucky could be any one out of de Boer, Suban, Clancee or Mzungu.

Even if Griffin doesn't come up do you consider taking Clarke out and just playing one Ruckman? Pinch hit with Tabs when Sandi is resting? Clarke would be a liability against Hawthorn I reckon.
