Well Justin said he didn't want to bother discussing it because he couldn't see it happening so I am not sure it is likely. Personally, it wouldn't worry me at all.
i kinda got the impression that sonny was a chance to get dropped this week, but JL just shut down the final question to prevent headlines/felt it was disrespectful idk?

Now he's probably gonna be in the team just to spite bloody Barra :tearsofjoy:

Fyfe has to come out

Let the umps get this over correction that we will witness this week

He will have a record 10 htb in the first if he plays

HTB furors generally benefit older teams. It's also one of those coach winged that get immediate traction.

Agree. Used to love some of those WACA night games, 20000-25000 fans, nip over to Gloucester Park afterwards or sometimes at half-time. Remember some games when it absolutely pissed down.
I remember being at one of those games at the WACA where it absolutely bucketed down. It was in the days when you were allowed to take your umbrella into the ground. Spent the whole game being unable to see anything due to the incessant rain and all the umbrellas in front of us. Those were the days.

Based on the last minute of Jlo’s presser sounds like Sonny is very close to being dropped. 1-2 changes anticipated this week and said ‘we’ll see how it falls for Sonny’.

Best victories in 98 were Norths and Saints at the WACA. Winnie's hang was at the WACA. The Flying Egg's soccer from the boundary was at the WACA.

hey were good times.

Was a scrawny 10 year old at that game, I'll never forget the noise after that goal - it really exploded x10 at that smaller venue. It's why the Scorchers were far more entertaining at the 'furnace' as opposed to Optus.

It's funny a few fans said to me after the Collingwood game that the crowd felt as loud as the early days at the WACA/Subiaco.

Around COVID it was like everyone lost their voice permanently, good to see some liveliness again in the crowd.

Suddenly I'm watching the clock for team selection, though we have extended squads so we'll probably learn nothing.

Sounds like they're really happy with Ras, but just need a spot there for him. Definitely implied he will be given a shot at some point.

And yes, Walters is either dropped or close to being dropped.

I'm an ardent Will Brodie fan, and I reckon he's the type of player if you give him a spell of games he'll match the level he reached in 2022. Mind boggling we've let him waste in the 2's at a relatively young-age.

I'm perhaps overly biased towards him.

No I agree. Sometimes the negatives are out weighed by the positives. Which is certainly the case for Fyfe atm. You would like to think it is either Fyfe or Brodie that plays, but even then it doesn't happen that way.

I’m pretty sure Wagner stays in for a full game. He did some really good things and the ball movement was much quicker when he came on. Also Amiss will stay in but just hope that he gets to kick a goal for his own sake as well as ours. The more time that passes with his drought the worse it becomes for him mentally.

Walters may be the sub if JL is saying that he won’t be managing any players before the bye. He’s struggling playing out a full game and would have much more impact as the sub.
