Smith will obviously be an in

Why did Crouch miss the SANFL game? Maybe a straight recall

Worrell and Murray in. I'd bring in Hamill if Max or Hinge get suspended.

Surely we can see Curtin for a full game

Drop Murphy and Himmelberg please, for the love of God
Crouch had same flu as Smithers

The bads:
Borlase - just couldn't contain Chol and was badly shown up
Cook - invisible and one of the players that allowed the ball to stream out of the forward line
Murphy - as above
Himmelberg - did nothing

Special mention for Laird who sent us backwards and Berry who did not offer enough.

Ins:
Dawson - replaces Himmelberg
Worrell - replaces Borlase
Murray - replaces Cook
Crouch - replaces Laird in the middle, Laird to HF and Max out due to MRO
Ryan - replaces Murphy
Not sure you can blame Cook.
Had 4 tall forwards who are all on the slower side. Their players ran of them regularly.
Add in Rachele who doesn't chase at all, and you have guys like Cook and Keays chasing 6 guys. Pretty tough for them.

Team ethos - team first -yada yada yada

I watched Laird closely yesterday he has turned into the most selfish footballer for some time - doesn’t care where his kicks go as long as he gets a disposal, more damning he goes when he wants to -at one point a ball was centred it went past him with no real effort to get there and stop it - quite sad.

Rachelle the same how many times does he get get caught holding the ball because he wants to do more - I understand if you have flair use it but bugger me he is getting so frustrating to watch.

As a big fan of Cook -he’s cooked - classy when he has it but the issue is he rarely has it.

Murphy omg the only redeeming feature about him is that I can watch him and think “I could have played AFL”

Anyone else concerned that Dawson misses one more? Listed as 1-2 last week. It would be disastrous going to Geelong without him (will be disastrous irrespective).
I hope he doesn't play, there is absolutely no benefit to winning another game this season and losing and losing big will get matthew nicks sooner out the door. This week will be a big loss imo, michalenney likely suspended and this week may just be the coach killer game.

Nix is gunning full bore for meaningless wins. Hoping that Murray doesn't come back, I'd be strongly considering calling his year over. But we know that's unlikely. The below would result in 8 defenders, maybe Smith as sub or Hinge plays up the ground on a wing.

Into 23 - Dawson, Smith, Murray, Worrell & Crouch
Out of 23 - Curtin, Berg, Borlase, Max (susp) & Taylor or Berry or Cook

22 to 12 inside 50 ground ball gets and 16 to 5 tackles inside 50. Who would have thought our inside 50 would be crap when there was a contest.

I'd love for you to post a clip of Cook chasing or putting on a physical contest. Funny that Rachelle doesn't put his body on the line and Cook is the messiah. Cook has been given the most chance of anyone this year and has provided SFA most of the time.

In:
Dawson
Murray
Worrell
Crouch
Hamill
Curtin
Smith
Ryan

Out:
Taylor
Borlase
Himmelberg
Cook
Bond
Jones
Murphy
Berry

Simply put, our entire midfield department was torched. I'm really disliking the way that Berry usually responds well to be dropped, has great form in the SANFL, gets recalled to the seniors and then has a really good game, then tends to fade away again until het gets dropped....

Yeah lets drop Taylor and Bond.

Lots of variables this week but I'm going with

Outs -
Cook - Taylor to forward line
Borlase
EH
Murphy
Max (assuming suspension )

Ins -
Dawson
Worrell
Murray
Smith - Forward
Curtin

I'd like to get a look at Hinge on a wing and Smith forward before the season is over. Laird needs to be out of midfield, try him down back and see how that goes. Curtin & Dawson into Midfield and Taylor & Laird out of there

Berry is lucky we have no real options IMO

No-one has ever said Cook is the messiah.
I simply said it's a bit much to blame him when the 4 talls were being destroyed constantly.

I am pleasantly surprised.

I thought he’d get a week or two for the hit and then a few more for slamming “The Wizards” head into the ground with a couple of jumper punches.
Michael Christian knows we can't make finals, so some feigned leniency now to say, see, (even though I do) I don't target you harder than everyone else Crows

Agree. I just don’t see him getting involved - he has averaged just over 10 disposals over 15 games. His best return this year is 15 (once) and 9 times of that 15 he has had less than 10 disposals.

This is his 4th year in the system and at this rate he will even be poorer than Murphy.

We all know that Curtin, Taylor and Bond in line to drop thanks to Nick's. Borlase will go out but we know Laird and Smith will be protected so Curtin and Taylor most likely out

He's a moron
