It was & I have looked at the footage, was poor execution.
The % play was definitely down the line & out of bounds though.

As opposed to the massive success the Tigers have enjoyed in the last 30 years.
Its the way it is, we won our last two or three with ugly wins where we could have easily lost, no different this week, I thought we probably deserved it slightly, but you got the points and in the end thats what counts.

What a game! Redeemed AFL 24 hours after the forgettable.
Couldn't be more proud. Outplayed Freo once again, fought the umps to a stand-still, but you just can't give the top team that many second chances.
Thought we'd fall in a heap after Rance's unbelievable defensive effort being penalised in the last- gutting- but we came yet again.
Cotchin vs Crozier kicking for goal in the last was the difference.
Freo take the 4 points and are buying lottery tickets tonight, Tiges suck it up.

It is what it is, but I doubt Ross would be any happier than DH except for the points, we had plenty of other chances to ice the game.
We can at least go forward knowing that we can match with one of the better teams going around and maybe we will learn something....HOULI IM TALKING TO YOU

Hardly. Carlton's crowds, membership and fan engagement are simply terrible. You have already asked the AFL for an advance of funds this year and want to get out of Etihad deal yet the MCG is hardly rolling out the welcome mat.
You have an interim coach, installed after paying out Malthouse $1m. The playing list is severely lacking in so many areas, has no leadership and is the most bereft of any club for young talent 25yo or less.
Not to mention the off-field leadership consisting of a CEO with a dubious legacy, a board that is divided, way too big and a play-thing for a bunch of individuals that have failed you time & time again and a staff turnover more akin to seasonal fruit pickers.
Carlton may just be the most irrelevant club in the competition at the moment and well into the foreseeable future.
