Backline was rock solid.
Egg may need a game or two rest at some stage but otherwise stays in for good.
As does Balta.
How does Astbury fit back in? I think Baker moves up the ground. Houli going to have trouble breaking back in.
Bolton just fu**in brilliant in the first quarter. Not as noticable for the rest of the game but he stays mostly in the midfield as our stars return.

What to do with Jack? He is still useful even as a decoy. Oppo can not afford to ignore him. He is a champion and will regain form at some stage.

Soldo has his limitations, but did well on Goldstein who is one of the rucks that can take control of a game. I think we need him to negate the monster rucks of the league.

Higgins, Castagna, Rioli, Aarts probably as good as they've been this year. Hopefully they all build on tonight's game and keep improving. No VFL and no obvious replacements to keep pressure on their performances ( Markov? Dow? RCD? Stack?)
Chol's form helps take the pressure off JR & Lynch.

I'm not particularly noticing Lambert, Graham, Dusty, Pickett standing out in games but a scoreline like that doesn't happen without without your midfield being on top. Graham may make way for Cotch/Prestia when they return, followed by Pickett. Pickett has that mature body that is needed at the moment with other players out. He is handy with his versatility.

Who takes Caddy's place on the wing?
Naish is a possibility as is Dow. Or, I think Baker would suit if Astbury is ready to return. Balta remains, Grimes plays small again.

Hard seeing any other changes. I want to see CCJ in the team. Could he take Chol's forward/ruck role and Chol take Caddy's wing?
Think Ross & RCD are going to have to wait a bit longer for opportunities.
Garth now behind Balta.
Stack won't get ahead of Egg, etc for a while now. He may be best as a Rioli replacement if needed.
No way jack graham gets dropped again.. he is pivotal to our center bounce set up.. pressure acts and tackling m. Takes the pressure off our ball winners and good ball users

and Dima loves him 😉

hodgy told Richo off for getting grimey reported
hodgy said...absolutely no way grimey gets rubbed out...was on the shoulder ...and Richo should be embarrassed for not sticking up for the tigers more
But did you hear Richos response?
He said if he stuck up for him he'd be called biased.
Poor guy, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't!

i reckon Dimmer is realising we don't need some of our greats as much as we thought we needed em
Systems based team! The players say it all the time and it really shows on game day now!

I have no issue with it either way tbh, good on him for not wanting to seem biased.

He's still rooting for us deep down.
