Today's game was a prime example of how poorly our forward line functions.
Multiple times the commentary called out the lack of movement when the ball was about to go inside 50.

I don't care who you have in the forward line, bombing it in and everyone just converging underneath it is not a viable or functional forward line.

I know everyone thinks half back flankers grow on trees but if it was me, I'd rather keep him. If he wants to go I'd be demanding Gold Coast's two best picks.

Was an ugly game. We had far too many skill errors, which was pretty embarrassing. I just can't wait for this season to be over.

Well at least Rioli reminded everyone of his trade value.
Next year we'll be historically uncompetitive. Take the worst team in the comp and remove the only three players who can move the ball (Rioli, Bolton, Baker)? We'll be lucky if we can average 5 goals a game. Dark decade ahead.

Could only give votes to Rioli, Tresize and banks. Unforced skill errors, bad decisions, wrong options and no-one to kick to in the forward 50 except Bauer and at times Kozi. Ryan and Miller were liabilities. hopper and Taranto butchered the ball at every opportunity.

At least they could focus on the basics - how many shots missed from 35m out ? Prestia, Taranto and Green. This is junior level skills.

Yes we have had more injuries than any other side and the umpires treat us differently than any other side. But only a handful turned up today and gave us any effort. We trade Rioli, and we are heading into a long dark period. He won't be part of the next flag because we are 3-5 years from being competitive again, but we have already developed a losers' attitude. We have never lost this many games in any season - ever.

Bolton, Baker, Graham - they can all go - and other players that don't want to be part of the rebuild can fleck off - including coaches and most importantly - fitness staff.

In - Blight, Baker, Brown (if fit)

Yze is emotionless even Im confused as a supporter.
Rioli is a must keep the rest can piss off.
We got bent over badly with the Hopper deal and I would rather play Dow.
Our list is terrible there was absolutely no succession planning for Lynch or Jack.
Ryan is just wasting space in the team and has no ability to mark the footy.

I'm with a few others here and have serious doubts over Yze.
I was at the Hawthorn Carlton game today and was wondering did Hawthorns ball movement get better
after Newman left? The Hawks have a good game plan and the skill to pull it off.

We are ****ed and it's going to be a long time before we become any good again.

Ralpsmith has improved this year but things like that dropped mark in defence that resulted in a goal - just not AFL level.

Hopper is a worry. Looks like the stupid fitness staff had him bulking up last pre season at the expense of agility. Morons

Rioli is all class. We need him but we probably need 2 x top picks more right now.

Went to haw game on corporate , if we get inside 10G that’d be a win, by comparison saw very few dropped marks , qty ball movement, a lot of energy stark contrast to the tripe we dish up in what’s clearly our worst season in clubs history
GC better pay up for rioli , he’s undoubtedly our best player this year and on form only one that’d get a game anywhere else
