Can I just say that I definitely won't be the first intruder you have tonight nor the last but I just want to send my congratulations to the Richmond footy club as a whole. This has just been an extraordinary journey and tiger fans have showed the rest of the AFL what real fan passion and commitment is.

Richmond supporters have gone through a lot over the years, from "save our skins", to coming close in prelims, to finishing 9th again, years on the bottom of the ladder and then choking in finals, throughout the whole journey the members have continued to support the club when it could have been so easy to jump off them (and yes as a blues fan I've my fun with Richmond too). That commitment has finally been rewarded by the footy gods and seeing the reactions from the 90K tiger fans almost bought tears to my eye's so congratulations, you deserve it and go out there and make Victoria proud by eating the croweaters alive
