I saw Marshall head down must've been the exhausting effort he put in for 4 qtrs. Sooooo over this charlatan. Backed him for years and years.

Nuff's e nuff. Take ya lazy laconic cooler than cool persona and show us thru' the sanfl how much you want for the jumper.

F*cken disgusting effort.
Totally agree. Just was not interested at all. Looked like he didn't want to take a mark.

Watching us play is like pulling teeth.
Rarely any excitement in our style.
Just a concoction of fumbles, skill errors, poor decision making, abominable disposal and dumb game plan.

Predictable ending.

Ad I stated, we were always in the game, even to the extent of being comfortably ahead, but I had no illusions that we would raise our game enough to hold on for a win.

Some excuses with injuries, I grant you, but the facts are, we choked on the big stage - yet again 😒😠👎

We don't have the will or the courage to win when it counts. It's all between the ears. Like Groundhog Day every year, like a broken record.

I’m pretty sure I have watched this game before:

The night Port has shot itself on the foot, stood up, seemed fine, but ended up rolling over and dying. It was INCONCEIVABLE ["liar!"], but it has happened anyway ["surprise!"]. Barracking for Port is to live on the edge of the "Cliffs of Insanity." What can one do, then, but to laugh before his own sad fate?

Duurs, Mckenzie all injured and all missing mulitple weeks you would think. Rozee and Alir doing their ankles cost us rotations and we had nothing left.
Some poor moments and decision making especially the Drew one when scores were tied.
In the end i expected us to lose by 30-40 points and get blown out by their midfield. Tough loss and some tough selections coming up but performed better than hoped.

When you hear the coaches and players applaud what he brings, you understand how our guys don’t improve. Someone needs to tell him it is not acceptable not to go hard at the marking contest. He’s not alone though. Motlop, Rozee, Finlayson and Georgiades were all beaten comfortably by their opponents.

Thought it was a terrific finals worthy game of football. Injuries finally killed us off in the end but we competed like we usually never do up there.

Some horrible mistakes hurt us badly, that's on us and has to be worked through.

Some very good performances from young guys like Jones and Mead.

Houston brilliant and Drew is stepping up in midfield.

Could see Skinner and Sinn next week.

I was almost ready to write Jones off at halftime.

Came into the game well in the second half.

Houston's best game for us. Ever?

Most people just wanted a good contest. It was a much better performance than I anticipated. We got a close game, team fighting one man down and still in it, and people are still complaining. If we had no injuries we could have won that game.
Most people’s expectations are at an all-time low because the situation sucks and is sooooo predictable.

Injuries or not, p¡ssing that one away was practically preordained.

Not used to the weather and injuries unfortunately, just wasn’t our day, everything that could go wrong went wrong.

Overall pretty strong performance, skills from both teams were shocking. Just had the fresher legs in the end

It’s round 1, time to move on. Real season starts in September
Yes that's the bad news.
