Just a bunch entitled ex footballers with attitude and think their s**t don’t stink. Just a job for them and it shows.
I wonder would they have been so impassive if Carlton had come from behind in the last quarter and knocked us out of the finals?I have a feeling there would have been smiles and laughs and high fives in the box if that had happened.

We know how good potentially Baggers and Blues can be with Charlie and Harry in the team.

Any chance being better if let’s say Harry became injured before the game tomorrow?

Aka stronger focal point.

All in the eye of the beholder. They definitely look a much better side then what l saw play at the G in round 2. Considering they have won 7 in a row since we belted them, l think that shows a fair bit of improvement there. But everyone sees the game different, and obviously you do....👍
They look a much better side because we made them look bad. As you said, they’ve won 7 in a row since their loss to us and Adelaide (also looking the goods this year, and who we’ve also beaten).
It’s not that they were in bad form/playing bad footy when we belted them, we were just playing such good footy in the first few rounds with a fit list that they were made to look second rate.

An extraordinary piece of footage. Kane Cornes unexpressive, Sanderson unexpressive, Lyon unexpressive, Carey unexpressive, Montagna almost unexpressive. They've just watched the craziest last round 23 and finish they'll ever see. None of them could give a rat's. I wonder how they'd have felt if Carton got up.

Harsh in Lyon there, he was lapping up the absurdity of it all (you need to watch the MMM footage of that)

I’m assuming this made sense in your head.
It still does.

Curnow and Harry are capable of doing some damage when on song. Especially if both are firing.

Right now Harry isn’t going as well. Therefore split the targets and Harry gets his share but doesn’t convert much.

But you take Harry out (just for scenario as it’s not happening naturally), Curnow becomes the one focal point and provided the ball gets to him and often enough his potential to convert gives Blues bigger change to kick a winning score than same shots on goal or more but less conversion because Harry doesn’t hit the mark as much (think he’s around 33% conversion at the moment).

Buddy towelled Bruzzy up in the prelim. It was a horrid coaching move and the game turned once we put Moore on to him.

The reality is Curnow is a star and will kick goals. Murphy is our best option tomorrow. We defend really well as a defensive unit and as a team in general. Whilst Murph will be the direct opponent, he will have plenty of help.

Trouble is we only have 1 Moore. Put him on Buddy, keep him quiet, Reid becomes dominant. Put him on Reid, keep him quiet, Buddy runs amok. It’s not a new problem. It’s why we’ve brought Dean and Frampton into the club.

Ah yeah I see what you mean

It’s unbelievable how many shots McKay has missed. It’s so demoralising for fans/team mates to see an awesome mark then an inconceivable miss from 20m - as we all remember from the Travis Cloke era

Do you reckon they should play McKay back like Richmond did with Richo when he got the yips? Such a waste atm isn’t it

Given what we've seen from their "replacements" I'm not sure how many best 23 we actually are missing.

Assuming Cameron plays , we're missing

Dean , Frampton ,Howe , Kreuger, Lippa , McStay , Richards

Would 5 of those come in this weekend if available? And for whom? Good problem to have I guess.

Cameron, Frampton, Howe, Lipinski, and McStay all deserve to be in the best 23 discussion.

First thing is to fix his kicking for goals. One moment he’s banana kick. Next it’s drop punt. Doesn’t look like any real process.

Even Cox is better shot conversion wise at the moment. Simple technique.

Personally don’t care what Blues do with Harry and ok if they try to run through both twin towers and Harry Mungs most shots (fingers crossed).

So far it’s really reliant on their twin towers for goals to win. Outside of that not many goals coming from anyone else.

Mids not really adding more scoring power and the supply to them has so far been lacking so I’m for more of that tomorrow please.

We have a good spread of goal kickers. So hopefully that continues and we bury them. Not run them into form.

Just did myself the absolute priveldge at half time on the Ess/Rich and Bris/GCS games and found the R23 game Mini on Kayo from last year.

Couple of notes; they obviously didn't have Walsh, but Adams out was a huge commission given the game Cripps had.

They had an unbelievable momentum-fuelled run in the third quarter, but 2 of their goals absolute gifts. The fake play-on by Docherty which essentially resulted in a rule change, and the dangerous tackle paid to Cerra despite Sidebottom having tackled him for about 2 hours before they paid it.

Anyway, we know how it ended. Was interesting to see how similar our 22 will be.

Without analysing theirs we essentially replace Macrae/Howe/Lipinski/Henry (sub) with Adams/Mitchell/Hill/Markov

Cameron spent a lot of the first quarter injured on the bench after a knee knock

Really? Way off it? I thought they should have had us beaten at 1/2 time, one of the toughest opponents we’ve faced.
They had 3 more scoring shots than us to half time. They played well, but in no way shape or form should they have had us beaten at any stage of the game.

If you watch Triple M's footage of their call, you can see Carey fidgeting in his seat badly. I think it's pretty obvious he had money on the game.
