Fin macrae has worked into the game reasonably well this quarter-one term earlier than usual which is nice.

It’s a def issue. Johnson was playing very well before injury. But it’s a very obvious and well known concern. Plenty of talls this year in the ND

Just about all our injuries have impacted talls.

To be fair look at the AFL experience the Gold Coast have out there. Between Sexton, Atkins, Bowes, McPherson and Fiorini there is 487 games of AFL experience out there

Take Jetta’s 159 senior games out and it looks even worse.

Very ordinary start by us in the first, managed to keep in touch and played a bit better in the second qaurter with more pressure on the ball carrier in general play and just a bit less scrappy (still not great though).

GCS have a lot of afl players out there, are beating us well in the air and centre clearances too. reminds me a bit of the carlton afl game where when we can get the ball in open play we tend to be on the upper, when it gets into clearances, kick to pack stuff we look well beaten.
Bianco probably our best so far.

Fully fit talls and you'd have at least two of Cox, Cameron, Johnson, Kreuger out there and it'd be a VFL strength. AFL quality/reliability is the issue.
