No positives from this easily winnable game if we showed up with the right attitude.

5 goals in 10 minutes showed we were good enough to win this comfortably but u set Simpson we see again the players show up when they feel like it.

Hough is the most reliable player in our side, his growth has been unreal this year.

• Halfway through this season, only one half left to play
• Top 3 pick sewn up.
• The board will find it increasingly harder to justify extending Simmo's contract after this year
• Got the bye so I dont have to waste another Saturday afternoon watching us eat sh*t for lunch

Negatives:

* Everything else. I also include the improved performances from the majority of the side in the 4th quarter here - as a professional footy player you cant just "decide" when to turn up to a game. You are either there 100% for the entirety of the game, or you can f*ck off as far as im concerned.

In the scheme of things the result is actually not going to matter too much.

Our midfield is still woeful with limited depth and it’s going to need several more drafts to correct. No shortcuts, quick fixes or high priced recruits traded for draft picks. An honest conversation during the bye needs to be had about Dom Sheed, and Bailey Williams with Flynn in the team is a square peg in a round hole - it’s never going to work.

Genuinely the most disgraceful umpiring performance I have ever seen - some of the frees they pulled out were baffling - players were confused all game and it made the quality of two shit teams even shitter somehow

Get what you deserve when you pick that team.

Biggest positive is that either the team or Simpson must change and a win may have masked that.

When you are a bad team you also get the worst umpires so no surprise they botched it.

Big positive was Ryan in the middle was a good move that we should use more and Snake slotted back in kicking goals.

Had a feeling about today, not many sides go winless for this long and they were well and truly due. Exciting last quarter but kicking 2.15 is just always going to be too much to make up from. Congrats to North as they deserved it.

Duggo not seriously injured
Ryan in midfield looked good.
Backline was big for us all day
Didn't roll over, fought back in the last.
Flynns last quarter.
Yeos last quarter.
That probably secures us 17th and Pick 2. Mr O'Sullivan come on down.
So we're going to ask for a priority pick yeah?

NEGATIVES
Destroyed around the ball for most of the day.
We were allergic to the middle of the sticks for 3 quarters.
Why did it take until the last for the work rate to lift?
Losing the tackle count 62-84 says a lot considering they were first to the ball all day and it was ALOT worse at 3 quarter time.
Sheed and Gaff around the ball is such a disadvantage.
Very sloppy skills on show in the first 3 quarters. So many sloppy handballs, kicks i get but gee if you can't stick a handball......
Good ol AFL manufacturing the results they want as usual. Yeo did all he could to win that ball. Disgrace.



I'm happy with the fight back and the rest is what it is but gee this team needed a fire cracker up their arse at half time and it didn't come. You won't win many games of footy having to come back from that type of deficit in the last.
