Re: Carlton v Richmond

Take your first line of advice onboard yourself, they were just not good enough and you got shown up for a lack of depth once again. If our kids kicked straight we would of won as we dominated the 3rd and 4th quarter. :)

Mate, you were 40 points down 5 minutes in the last, you never got closer than 14 points from midway through the second, and the general concensus is that Carlton played poorly...yet still won by 20. I would hardly say that you nearly won the game.

Hang on, haven't the Blues beaten the Tiges twice this year by an average of 50+ points, and are sitting 7th, and the Tiges points-equal stone-cold last with only 3 wins for the whole season? Not good enough? lol. I really am tryig to see the logic there. Almost like saying Thrusfield had a reasonable game when Fev booted 9. Lets get real here, the situation is the Blues have moved well past the Tiges for multiple reasons, and Richmond supporters ain't too happy about it. I wouldn't stress over it though, because it'll get you down because the gap's just going to get wider. Focus your attention on getting a decent coach and sorting out your disasterous list management and player development problem. You'll only make progress once those problem areas are sorted. With Miller and Terry finally sacked, you at least have a chance now. :)

You only managed to beat a bunch of kids by 20 points when earlier in the year, you managed to beat our more developed, experienced players by 80 points. So we have improved as a side while you have gone backwards. Fev kicking 9 and only winning by 3 is also a bit of a worry. :)

Re: Carlton v Richmond

Be careful PJ, that chip on your shoulder is rapidly turning into a boulder ...

Really the Tigers were lucky only to lose by 20 points, we took the gas off the pedal in the final quarter ...

I think it's now been proven that Carlton are at least a 6 or 7 goal better side then Richmond ...

Fev had a tinarse game.

If Fev scored what he usually does 1 or 2 goals and a shit load of points,we would've won the game.

Not healthy your team relying on one man all the time.

40 points down, 5 minutes into the last, playing an undermanned, extremely inexperienced young Blues lineup, coming of a short break from an interstate trip in windy, low scoring conditions. Hardly an improvement I'm afraid. There was only a 3 months difference between the teams as well, and the Tiges had the oldest player and by far the most experienced defense. You're sitting points-equal last, so I'm not sure how you could call that an improvement. Sounds like classic straw clutching. :)
