Max King looks like he has just come out of a coma, has not been in front or at full pace in any contests. Our midfield are a disgrace, they take so long to hit full speed the opposition are 15 metres away by the time they react. Is there any chance Windhager actually puts some body on Butters, he is like a statue. I think we look better in there when Jack Steele is not in there also he is far too slow atm, but Lyon will keep going back to same players mids flogged.

Again our defence is keeping us in the game, you just dont win games like that! Port are mucking around with the ball outside 50, if they start getting it in quicker before we flood back they will win by 10 goals, but they are very ordinarily coached also ATM.

I wouldn't mind seeing Steele forward and throwing Owens in the middle.

Roma forward looks our most dangerous, and I’m a big supporter of King, but he might need to be subbed.
We miss Crouch.

Have said it before , Jackson Mead isn’t quite good enough to secure a spot in Ports superstar midfield but is a smart player who would be better than most of our midfield group. Still young and only just coming into his prime years - I’d love us to throw some money at him because we aren’t getting a player of the quality of JHF/Butters/Rozee coming to our club any time soon.

Think he tried to structure like Geelong with quality off HBF and the wings and less around the ball. Crouch going down hurt badly. He was our best extractor mid. Port quite a traditional set up.

I reckon having a full list available and Crouch like he was last year we would have finished between 7th and 12th sort of range again.

One really good mid and another small forward and we look a lot closer to the top 8.

Billings instead of Bont
Paddy instead of Trac
Hill instead of Serong
