Gawn is the clear threat. No shame on Stanley if he is well outpointed, as long as he make a context, and keep with him around the ground to minimise his influence beyond the ruck contests.

That is the very reason I suspect Zac will be running around in the hoops this week. A good match-up.

He's taken 4 and 5 marks and kicked 2.2 the last fortnight while playing primarily as a ruck and getting 40 hitouts a game.

I don't think he should be able to just assume that the ruck position is his God given right. If he wants in then let him do what we actually need, not what he wants. If he fails then try Abbott, Plugga, Buzza, etc. Doesn't bother me.

Not sure I see the Capper comparison. Seemed to get the journey easily from the set shots. Actually has a better action than I expected.

Just saw some vid of 360... showing how much work Gawn does.. how he is covering the loss of Lever. Who ever plays on the ruck should consider manning him up ... Id almost consider letting Blitz run with him for a while. We must be aware that right now he is playing at a level that is Ottens like or better..
