I do live in great fear of a Zac Smith recall with Stanley to FF nessesitated by how poor Buzza was. I’d rather Henderson Forward than see Zac play another AFL game.
Id have him over Buzza and SmithMy brain wanted to read that as "Harrison Ford".
Zac played extremely well in the twos and he's the only tall on our list who might give the dominant Gawn some trouble.I do live in great fear of a Zac Smith recall with Stanley to FF nessesitated by how poor Buzza was. I’d rather Henderson Forward than see Zac play another AFL game.

I said this in another thread but Henry is the one I would move forward. Its late and a bit desperate but thats where we are.
I have seen Henry moved forward in game, twice now. Last week he was up forward very late in the game. Took one cracking overhead mark and did something else that suggests he is comfortable up forward.
He is 191cm and has a big leap and sticky fingers. He is quick over the ground, built a reasonable tank and has a very good defensive mindset to go with his attacking weapons. From memory his kicking is the worst part of his package but Esava was awful and he turned that around with practice. Worth a try.
So Henderson in Buzza out. Stanley left in the role he is holding and doing well now (and we were begging for a competitive ruckman a little while back).
We would go in with one tall, two mid size (Menz/Cameri and Henry) and three smalls. Blicavs may even be able to pinch hit in ruck while Stanley rests with Henderson back.
Doesn't look nearly as good as Esava and Hawkins, one mid size and three smalls with Henry steady in defence, but that's the hand we have been dealt again.
Yep, Hendo in, Henry forward. I’d like to see that.I said this in another thread but Henry is the one I would move forward. Its late and a bit desperate but thats where we are.

He's never played a game as full forward in his life, so why would he now?

Henry should not go forward. He's developing into a quality back so there's no need to mess him around to fit other players into the side. His form warrants him holding his spot. If any of the backs were to go out for Hendo it would be Kolo but even then he'd be unlucky. We've moved a lot of players around and besides Blitz going back I don't think any of the other moves have worked. It's time to leave players where they're best suited and have guys playing for spots rather than fitting them in just because.I said this in another thread but Henry is the one I would move forward. He can’t take an overhead mark playing loose as a ruck. Imagine how he’d go with a defender on him. What if Zac goes to full forward instead?
He's resumed running at training. Still a chance for a late returnHas anyone heard how Sav is going with his recovery, is he a chance to make it back this year? We really miss his crashing of packs and big marks.
Can't or doesn't? Has taken some good marks before, has all the attributes. I don't see why we should take such an accommodating approach - just do what the team needs or get out of the way.He can’t take an overhead mark playing loose as a ruck. Imagine how he’d go with a defender on him.

The top sides are all predictable with a set game plan, set positions, settled team. Something we haven't had for years.
Does Menzel go back to the reserves this week? I feel that he should, but suspect that he won't.
I think they'll prefer to play him into form in the Seniors
Wasn't that something to the effect that he doesn't get match payments for reserves games?Pretty sure i read somewhere before his last comeback that Menzel had a clause in his contract about VFL matches, if thats true then i wouldn't expect to see him in the VFL again this year.
