Depending on availability

In:
Campbell, Clark*, Ross*,windhager*, long

Out: (in that order depending on availability of players above)

Ryder, Byrnes, jones, Paton, Higgins

With Ryder out gotta okay Campbell to reward form, he’s not the answer but got to do the right thing by him. All the other ins apart from king depend on fitness. Would drop the players depending on availability. Higgins gets more looks then butler but he applies zero pressure and effort, so if your not kicking goals, what’s the point of him playing, at least buts applies perceived pressure.

B: Webster Wilkie battle
Hb: Sinclair Sharman hill
C: wanganeen crouch wood
Hf: billings membrey long
F: Gresham king butler
Foll: Marshall Steele Ross
Int: highmore Campbell Clark windhager
Sub: Paton

Yep long and Ross in Ryder out - Campbell and Connolly offer nothing
Both Connoly and Campbell, especially the latter have consistently performed well for Sandy. Connoly is the only other line breaking hbf we have and I think we need to be more open to rotating Sincs thru the midfield.

Jones needs a spell. Byrnes turned over close to half his disposals.

Who else would you bring in?

Interesting Connolly into the HBF and Sincs into the midfield. Sinclair is a definite upgrade over any midfielder we have even Steele I think at this point now. Can Connolly at least give us 70% of what Sinclair does off half back? If so might be worth it

Funny that. I got shot down for suggesting that a month ago! And at that same time I was putting the heat on Jones and Wood. Nothing has changed in that time. A block of games down the toilet.

I doubt it.

Sinclair is arguably the best half back in the competition this year. Moving him to a different position and putting someone who is fairly meh in the VFL in that position instead weakens our ball movement from defensive 50 while only marginally improving the 4th-5th midfielder in the rotation.

Steele at times had the biggest sooky face on i have seen in a long time , not a good example

Where is the accountability for the captain? Steele failed to lead effectively, I hope that’s getting attention at the club. He’s a competitive guy, personal failure you’d think would hurt him

I agree Sincs is awesome at half back but he is also our only player that has the perfect balance of offence and defence that is quick and in my view we need to be more open him to rotating it thru the midfield. it doesn't matter how good he is off half back if the oppo is waltzing it out of the centre 1 after the other. I think we would lose drive from there which is why I think we try Connelly. He is quick and definitely has that evasiveness and is supposed to be a good kick, although he has been missing a lot of targets/choosing bad options when I've seen him play.

Plus if Sincs became an awesome mid, it would do more for us than an awesome half back, especially with out midfield mix

I just don't see the point in completely downgrading the half back position to someone who is average at best at VFL level for a minor upgrade in the midfield.

We would lose a lot more than we gain.

Sinclair into the guts is a massive upgrade on what is currently being served up

I'm just flabbergasted it hasn't been turned up this week. The players gave a bruise free effort and sooked it up. A bunch of marshmallows who chose when to give effort with VFL skills.
Who do you want to turn up the heat? the media no purpose Ratts is signed so no blood to extract, internally we will be bleeding & some players will feel the brunt at seasons end who not sure but someone of worth to be traded out fora draft pick, that's my opinion.
