We got beaten comprehensively , don't look at our last few missed chanced, they killed us around the park.

Positives are few.

Balta played amazing as did baker.

Taranto not using the ball well enough.

Rioli jnr a liability around the ground ATM

Bolton not enough impact.

We are still trying too hard and making dumb choices.

Selection committee dropped for 4 weeks.

Ryan shouldn't have played. Harsh on the kid but blind Freddie could see it wasn't the right structure for tonight.

Reckon Ryan would have been a better ruck choice for the whole game than Nank, to be honest. WE looked better with Ryan competing in the middle than we did with Nank.

The tone was set by our Captains in the first quarter. Turnovers by foot under 0 pressure and missed spoils that led to scores for the Pies.

Crap disposal then became endemic amongst the team.

Very poor decision making and disposal/hands under pressure.

Positive was the fight they showed all night. Amazing endeavour.

Ryan shouldn't have played. Harsh on the kid but blind Freddie could see it wasn't the right structure for tonight.

Clarke and Ralphsmith disappointing coming in. Will both go straight out. Ross solid enough but was another Ross game.. neither here nor there.

I don’t see it with Clarke. Besides Cumbo and Sonsie not many of our kids have me too excited.

Skill wise one of the worst games we've played in recent years. Liked Ross's game, worked hard. Biggest positive is Cumberland will probably start next week. Hopper, Dusty and maybe Taz back will be handy. Hard to take a whole lot away from that given it's only round 3. Bit of work to do but confident we will get better as the year goes on.

First half Collingwood’s structure won out; magnified by our inability to stick a tackle and poor disposal and decision making. Probably the most one sided 21 point lead I’ve seen in a while.

Second half we tightened up on a few areas. Seemed to be better and getting the ball out of the stoppage by hands as opposed by a hack kick forward. Still, Lynch missing two opportunities that he should at least make one of, and not holding a mark 60m out from goal (that led to a Collingwood goal) was disappointing from him.

Got beat by Collingwood at front of the stoppage. Cripps, Diacos x2 and Sidebottom were all dominant. Considering that Hopper and Short (who has been playing up at stoppage on most occasions) could help us structurally is a positive. Plus, thing there’s going to be some really good learnings from this.

Thought Jack Ross was more than solid. Especially in the second half and used the ball well as a draw and link man.

Thought Clarke showed signs but still is about 20 games away but has some very exciting AFL attributes.

Mansell did some solid role playing things but his position is the clear one that could be upgraded.

Thought Ralphsmith was okay. A few hospital hand passes and one or two times he probably needed to go harder. Seemed to focus on defence as opposed to run carry and link up as a back-flank which is his main strength.

Balta, Cotchin and Baker were best three for Richmond in my opinion.

All in all, okay with the loss. Think we will learn a lot from it. We have so much upside and areas for improvement which is exciting.

INS: Martin, Hopper, Short, Miller
OUTS: Clarke, Ralphsmith, Ryan, Mansell.

Someone needs to tell Taranto to back himself instead of slamming the ball on the boot all the time.
Reckon Ryan would have been a better ruck choice for the whole game than Nank, to be honest. WE looked better with Ryan competing in the middle than we did with Nank.
Spot on Groc, Ryan is going to be a star of the comp. Every hitout Ryan had he won.

I'm glass half full that the coaching committee will now be humble enough to realise we need a more dynamic team selection and stop hoping that 'our best' comes to play each week.. don't go kamikaze with playing the kids, but don't go arrogant with 3 talls and rewarding players because they won a flag years ago

Honestly, Tim English is gonna SMASH Nank next week if Nank serves up what he did today and the previous couple of weeks. If he has another good game tomorrow V the Lion's, I'd love to see Biggie come in. Has the athleticism to match English.
