He was ******* terrible. Put the ball in he hands of the hawthorn players more than he did our own players, easily the worst game he has played for the club.

seemed good to me. one or two bad hitout to the oppos but was otherwise his usually beastly self and took some good marks. 0 clangers and 85% de and a goal. at least half the team was worse imo

Opinions on Townsend? He is obviously a goals scorer but didn't do much today.

It seems like Castagna is as good in the air (as far as bringing the ball to the ground) and "the rest" are better once it hits the ground. Prepared to give him one more week but then it might be time for a stint at Coburg.

He's got plenty of credits in the bank imo

Should be dropped to the VFL where he belongs

Solid effort, better than solid until 3/4 time with our trademark grinding pressure evident in getting the game on our terms. Couple of Silly errors allowed them back Into the contest and a 5g+ win was watered down to 13p.
I’ll take it as I still don’t believe our. Structure is quite right . 7/11 doing well with good pressure and finishing workfrom butler and George Nice effort by conca too, a shrewd decision to leave him in as the hawks strengths were more in contested work than height

Best cotch, vlas, George , rance and grimes and McIntosh

Note to dan butler , don’t over do it kid , love your work and a neat bag of tricks , but get the job done kiddo

Saw your autopsy thread is no opposition posters, so steering clear.

Wanted to say congratulations - thought we were significantly flattered by the margin, you worked harder, held your defensive structures and generally dominated the game.

A very frustrating game to watch as a Hawk, as we continually played into your hands even when we won the midfield contests. A huge positive to Hardwick, his tactics pulled us completely apart.

So nice to play a team that plays the way it should be, using speed, aggression and skill - doesn't manipulate the umpires and just plays good, hard football without the sniping off the ball.

Good luck for the rest of the year (except if you see us again).
