4 Down 8 to go
I have my lucky superstitions too. One of my favourites is sitting in the same position when we get a run on, fearing that if I move we'll lose momentum

Liked Long's game a lot tonight. Probably a better offensive game than Paton has played all year. Will have to watch the replay to pay closer attention to their defensive stuff throughout the game. He's making himself very hard to leave out now. I really liked the role he played against Richmond and Hawthorn as a pressure forward. Will be interesting to see what they do with Webster back next week.
Surely Lienert goes out? I’m prob a bit harsh but I don’t see what he offers other than a ‘get out kicker’. Doesn’t seem to be that great defensively or offensively. I would bring Webster in for Lienert & Long as the 7th forward or defender rotating off the bench.

I’ve seen the replay of it half a dozen times. The sound doesn’t do it justice.

At the game. The crowd really got going when Hill busted away from half back with the ball that ended up with Higgins 4th.

Fantastic bit of play.
And one he'll of a lucky bounce helped just in case no one noticed but yes it was an amazing piece of play that really lifted the crowd

Does it piss anyone else off all the love for Luke Jackson? He's a decent player and he will probably be very good player eventually but max king is genuinely the best young player in the comp. At 21 years old he is getting between 5-10 shots on goal a game (sometimes more) No other key forward in the league is getting near that many. No one but buddy has done it in the last 15 years to my knowledge. Give him some more credit media

Few here wanting to drop Long to bring this player or that player back.
For mine Long is in as good if not better form than Butler.
Harder and more versatile too.
Butler has been down on form IMO

I believe in the commentary Joey refers to another bounce that didn’t go our way.

And if Webster comes in for Lienert

You are literally choosing Jones or Billings for Windhager.

It’s Jones for me and I’m not even thinking twice
Actually I’m choosing Wood for Billings, probably. Webster for Lienert. Jones for Windhager.

But I don’t know why we’re still talking about this; we can worry about it in Grand Final week.

You are talking about the passage of play where there were 3 Sun's vs hill on the city side of the ground, ?

Sure but that's in isolation. What about with Webster, Jones and Clark healthy?
Isn’t this whole question in isolation?!

Would depend on availability and form. All things being equal he’s in my team, but he’d wanna be in form.

For example, I more than get the love for NWM, I love the skinny bastard, but it’s a hard ask for a first year kid to play the entire year, sustain form, and not get sore and pushed out; he’s not a bloke who’s got the “ready to go body” either. Will he still be cherry ripe come the business end of the season? I hope so, but we’ll have to wait and see.

For once I agree with you, wood has been very good for us , lots of small things he does goes unnoticed
