I suppose what do you classify as important. I would think he is just as important as he has always been. Continues to get clearances, hitouts and hitouts to advantage. Gets good inside 50 numbers. Has Macrae got a game plan that diminishes the need for these contributions?

In the VFL he just wasn’t concentrating, making dumb decisions and mistakes. He shows no urgency or desire, he moves around laconically and seems disinterested.
As I’ve said previously his got talent but needs tough love - if he had Madge’s competitiveness he’d be in the seniors.

He doesn't have awareness. Don't like his chances.

Mcrae is rightly not using him as a running linkman or down the line target as much as what Bucks did. His stoppage game is still bloody good, except for disposal.
