We play steady football for 3 quarters and then put on the gas in the last quarter when the opposition are getting fatigued.
Thought we looked horrid for 3 qtrs.

That’s the worst I’ve seen our fwd line function since Fly started!!!

But given how strong we finished….I just wonder if we don’t have a different gamestyle.

Just his work rate and physicality. He’s an important cog in our defence machine.
Yup he is.

He normally is super solid, wins his 1v1 and starts an attacking thrust.

Just noticed this year that, while positioning seems ok, he fumbles.
The clean handling is the difference in us scoring vs a stoppage.

Just saying I think he is on thin ice.

Collingwood selects for structure. I expect Kreuger to stay i until cox is back. That relieves Johnson of having to ruck.

Kelly was good but unless he has a role in our best 22 then he might have to go back to the 2nds
So you're saying we're better off with Krueger next week as opposed to Kelly? Because most likely, one of those two will be the sub

Probably Ruscoe makes way… he was the like for like replacement in the first place
Yeah agree.

Won’t be Markov.
Thought his game today was very solid.
Certainly better than Noble.

I’m sure the match committee will have a lot chat about ruscoe/IQ……
Think they’ll land on IQ….but they’ll discuss it!!!

I asked the question of unchanged team vs Crows but forgot about Murphy. Sorry Murphy you’re well needed in our backline.

Think Pendles might have a break depending on how bad his eye injury is and a five day turn around.
Think he will too.

Long season.

Do we really think that he’ll be the difference?
Third trip in 4 weeks.
6 day break (3 days for travel)
Sore eye.

…..leave him home is what I expect they’ll do.

Reckon Adams will be back as well. I think the eye injury would be the only thing that’d keeps Pendles out, hopefully not too serious.

Resting players is usually done more at the end of their careers. Not like Pendlebury who is only half way through

I don't think it was a functional issue, it was individuals ****ing up.
Everything Elliott touched went badly.
Freddie was deranged
Hill was copping a smashing and lost confidence.
Mihocek was just battling away.

Yeah it was strange wasn’t it.
Normally we at least have one winner.

We just lost 1v1 time and time again.
Although I just wan them to have a heckin'g shot!!!
Stop the handball, selflessness shit and have the damned shot!!

Reckon we had about 5+ shots we could have taken today

His 1v1 last year was great.

This year it’s still good (he’s not losing many), but he fumbles and double grabs at every contest.

He kicks that goal last year. Today it is touched on the line.

Maybe too many weights?
Against Brisbane, he fumbled every time he went near the ball.
He's a powerful unit now, but is it possible he has bulked up too much & lost some flexibility in the process?

The synergy was way down but that’s likely a consequence of so much change to the F50 cohort. It’ll take time.

He’s massive.
His defensive side is fine.

But he has just fumbled everything that has gone near him!!
It’s been so hard to watch as we all expect more from him based on last year.

In the magoos he’s a good field kick and mark, bit disastrous with a handball. I cringed when he got it on the wing but he laced out a huge handball. Shows the power of a positive coach that lets blokes embrace their strengths and flaws. We needed a game to test out the cellar of our depth. Turns out it’s pretty good. Trey deserved his spot too and leveled up today.
Kelly had a beautiful handball on the turn to Crisp maybe? in the last, was very slick!

One swallow doesn’t make a summer tho etc etc
