Should i risk chappy!!??!?!
Panic trades after getting thumped by the fullblowndonks this week
Good call and those that have trades will rocket past those who run out by round 17/18.For everyone panicking about the split round, it's a partial lock out.
For trades, i will be holding off for a few weeks. There are just no downgrade targets right now (that are worth it) but this is the week every club can elevate a rookie, so we should see some tasty prospects coming out of the woodwork. Also will give us some time to see who performs best and who has the best JS
I scored 2362 this week with a Webberly 0 failing to cover Maguire.
I am no hope of overall. May as well hold the trades, as judging by this week, there is going to be carnage at the pointy end of the fantasy finals. And in my league, its tough to even win a game!
People that have under 5 trades at this stage are in for a world of hurt in the coming few months
^^^ If you reckon you can maintain top four with that team and no trades, then just hold on to them. Otherwise, it looks like a very good team, and Swan would only improve that further.
Here's my forward line:
Pavlich, O'Keefe, Brown, Goodes, Podsiadly, Higgins, Ziebell (Watts, Hughes)
As you can see, i got Brown and Higgins injured for bout 3-4 weeks, with Watts as cover (not guaranteed to play) and Hughes doing sh*t all on the bench. With only 4 trades (don't even ask how i got into this situation) what do you reckon i should do?
Trade Higgins? Trade Brown? Or just sit still and wait and see?
Bare in mind that I am guaranteed pretty much a top four spot in league.
Damn, about $700 short of a straight swap of Maguire to Harbrow. And Harbrow's BE is only 71 (83 avg)
Dempesey is another option, Hargrave if he's back next week, Carrazzo?
Hmmm...
hmm, i would go with option B personally, but i am a little reckless with my trades, haha, i just brought in heath shaw last week and saw him score 4 points in a half, if you can, avoid him.
here is my question, which scenario is better:
hille/chapman/4 trades
sandi/didak/3 trades
its just so confusing!!
Ok my forward line is in big trouble (has always been somewhat weak) 2 donuts coming up with no cover.
I have J Brown and C Mayne. Both out for at least a few weeks from what I can tell.
7 trades left.
Chappy, pav and roughhead holding up the fwd line at the moment with some nice help from rockliff, who I am now going to have to keep. The other fwd is Ebert who I planned to get rid of long ago but things got in the way and now I'm probably stuck with him too.
Anyway, back to the 2 big problems at the moment. Considering:
J.Brown > ROK
C.Mayne > M. Hahn
Thoughts?
Both kinda sideways which I guess is a no-no, and I hate to trade out brown because i'll be losing quite a bit of money on him, but this way I can deal with both injuries with only 2 trades.
I still managed to score 2278 last week with the same 2 donuts, which was enough to win me both league matches, so I could also attempt to ride it out...
Goodes, Waite or even Boomer Harvey look the best options in that price range I reckon.Got 7 trades and 150k in the bank.
Back, Mid and Rucks set.
Forwards:
Pav, Didak, Brown, O'Keefe, Franklin, Hall, Pods
Looking to trade JB out this week, but for who is the million dollar question.
Looking to do a Hall to Chappy in rd19 for finals (have goose on the bench to cover the funds for that trade post rd18)...
can't bring myself to get Dale Thomas and i'm skeptical on Gia....
Goodes is presenting himself well to me and will leave me with 100k in the bank.
Any other viable options, Waite?
If your going to trade in a Bulldogs forward, perhaps Rob Murphy is the best choice, especially if he continues to play on the HBF.
