Rucci was pillored by all on SEN this morning for his artcile in the Sun.

Pickering thought it was a very poor article and Rucci deserved to be thrown into the media watch bin.

Both he and Mark Allen thought the article was a disgrace. Some callers thought likewise too - particularly the way he described Adelaide choking.

I am a semi regular on sen Paul from Adelaide ill ring Beva this week and explain to him that when it comes to the print media in this town its 2 rules bag the crows even if they do good and praise port no matter what.

Come to think of it that applies to the radio [5aa] to

It's the clear contradictions in his articles that get me.

As I pointed out on page 1 of this thread, Adelaide has an ageing list blah blah blah, but ok, they did find a couple of kids in Porplyzia and Maric (no mention of the likes of Douglas, Van Berlo, Meesen, et al)

But in his Port article he mentions every single kid on the list like they are guaranteed 200-game superstars.

A proper journalist would approach his subject matter with balance, not obvious bias.

Wow. There would be some objectivity at SEN considering Rucci sued the pants off them!!!!!

Aha.

Would that be a similar type of objectivity to yours, seeing you are a Port supporter who hates the Crows, Michelangelo?

Er, you don't know that he wrote it especially for the Herald Sun. It's far more likely that it was rejected for publication by the Advertiser then picked up by the Hun to take up some space.

oh yes of course. this was rejected because adelaide is a protected species, even though Rucci's 'heres another oppotunity for me to shamelessly bag the crows for no good reason' Roast is published every week

so it was probably viewed by some Port supporterrs as a bad article .. we dont posts lots of " anti Ashley Porter Posts" we dont have lots of anti - Ashley Porter threads" like a portion of crow supporters have made towards Rucci

Who are you trying to kid? There is a thread on the Port board referring to some things Andrew Jarman wrote. You might want to browse through it before you get all self righteous.

Move on, Adelaide Board. People are beginning to laugh at this unhealthy obsession.

You're right John.

Michelangelo's obsession with the Adelaide Footy Club is both unhealthy and laughable. :) :thumbsu:

That article is in the Tiser today.
This should be a subject for investigation by Media Watch - why has this article been suppressed for so long in the Adelaide paper? What has changed the minds of the editorial staff to publish this now? It's certainly not a slow news week as far as footy is concerned with trade week and the Desperate Crowswives soap opera playing out.

That's no doubt the reason for the change of heart - the AFC mafia has leant on The Advertiser to throw Rucci to the wolves as a diversion to the sordid McLeod - Hewitt - Edwards love triangle that is seriously sullying the TROSA brand...

This is clever. Careful, the locals here will accuse you of being Rucci. Then again, they won't. This is far too funny to be anything he would say with his dry wit.
