O'Keefe's management, indeed, has told Victorian suitors that, if he moved, he would like to play with a club that a prospect of success in the near future, and that money was a secondary consideration.

Yep why all the rumors over Lovett tho? he is a good player but not what we need we need a forward prospect.

essendon have verified that we along with other clubs have expressed interest in him

also he was flown out to sydney for a meet and greet just a few days ago

I wouldnt think that the Hawks would offer up Thorp, he is being groomed at Box Hill to play CHB. So he is very much a required player.

If Hawks were involved in the deal i would think the offer would be pick 16 + Boyle.

Pick 6 for Dal Santo and Kozi and keep pick #12
I would much prefer swans to get Dal Santo and Kozi and even if we had to forfeit a player as well as pick 6 i dont think it is a very big deal.

btw, I like the fact you make an effort with your posts, good onya for that, but you were pumping up Dal Santo earlier, saying youd much rather him than Rhino, now your saying hes as soft as butter (which he is), make up your mind though, or people will just keep dismissing your posts as drivel!

I feel a first round pick for ROK is too much. Regardless of stats he is 27 turning 28 before next season. Selling the house (which a first round pick is) is too much. As for Dal Santo, I have always said I like watching him- in other words his silky skills are great to watch. But too often he goes missing and is a bit soft- does not find the ball enough himself (needs to be spoon fed the ball). I would hope my club would stay away from both players. I love watching both players, but they are not what our club needs. I would honestly rather get games into Gumbleton, etc than make a play for O'Keefe for instance.

I honestly don't understand why supporters get upset when players decide to move on, especially ones with a work ethic like ROK. He's served us well, i love that guy and hope he is able to grab another premiership medalion or 2 before he retires.

Some of us get upset when so-called "servants" of our club pretty much try to screw that same club over. If you want to go home, go home. If you want more money, negotiate for it instead of threatening to leave.
600,000 a year? Dreaming. O'Keefe is good but he aint that good. Id rather see the pay packets of the Bolton's get a bit of a top up before offering that kind of money to O'Keefe. Good luck to him if he reckons he can command 600,000 a year for the next 4 years in Victoria.
