Hinkley’s a proven home and away coach, he simply can’t sort a team out come finals.

It’s all between the ears with all the players and club, they don’t have an option but to clip this guy, it’s embedded in carpet I’d say.

Fear of failure, it’s like he’s instilled it in the playing group and by keeping Ken years after his use by date the football committee are also to blame.

100% he’s cooked and gone, West Coast? Doubt it.

Cornes teeing off on Bevo again this morning.

“If Sam Mitchell was coaching the bulldogs, if Chris Scott was, Justin Longmuir, they could do more with this list”

What? No mention of old mate Stinkley? A coach that hasn’t made finals for 2 years is getting a mention before him

"You need your best ball-winners to dictate from the start"

Horne-Francis started on the bench in the Sydney game and Port were 45 points up by quarter time, Robbo.

You weren't complaining then.

One problem (among many) is Kenny played Butters injured.

Surprise, surprise.

Another is that Kenny's plan doesn't stack up in big games or against teams that run-and-carry out of their back half and overwhelm an undermanned Port defence.

Another is that Kenny's propensity for risk-taking in the first quarter won't work when the coach's mental fragility seeps into the playing list ... year after year after year after year.

Another is ... honestly, we could go on.

But the fair question is, if Chris Scott was secure enough to rest Tom Stewart, why wasn't Kenny honest enough to admit that Butters never should have been played?

That's pretty much all true. But Slobbo is right, JHF should be starting on the ground. No-brainer.

The complete media love in for Ken is one the most bewildering things I've come across.

Once he's gone we'll look back at this period and just think, what on earth was going on there??

It's not hyperbole to say that it all simplifies down to this within the media.....we win, Ken's responsible, we lose, players are responsible.

Reading things on BF too like Kens coached the team to 2nd on the ladder, now it's up to the players to win the flag, Ken can't do anymore.......what??!!

The receptionist at my son's child care told me this morning that she's a 'Ken fan'. I responded with mentioning that I'm sure we have a few psych wards around where we live. I told her that he's a cockroach because he manages to survive somehow when he shouldn't. She was good about it, the conversation was somewhat therapeutic for me.

Did you ask her why she's a Ken fan? It's a red rag to bull when someone says that to me. I simply go nuts.

Over the Nullarbor, they are trembling.

The duality of man. I bet they post on Facebook about how it's all on the players
Say Port loses this week and Ken is given his marching orders.

Does he think he can lean on his media mates to agitate for his employment at West Coast ... and that the Eagles will simply roll over and hire him?

Ken is such a narcissist.
I'm not sure Ken would be able to handle to WA media. The SA media is benign compared to them.

Some are saying they don't want us to go out in straight sets.
I don't want to see daddy doughnuts dancing again if we win to then be beaten by the Swans for the first time in 8yrs.
Or worse still play the cats in a GF and possibly see another flogging

Well what I took out of this:

No plan B.
Hinkley well out coached.
Same game plan every week. (square peg round hole)
Our game plan does not stand up in finals.
Ken doesn't know how to instill confidence into the playing group.
Hinkley is a bad finals coach.
The fall out for Hinkley will not be good.
Sack Hinkley.

Port fans are way out of bounds with their booing.
Kenny deserves to see out his contract because of his impeccable H&A record.

At the end of the day it just exposes the weakness in our clubs decision makers, they will take don't rock the boat and steady as she goes over doing what is right for the club.
This is who we are now and we used to take the piss out of St Kilda & the Camry's, at least they have the balls to remove plodders and self indulgent people from their clubs.
