Remember the Hawks game where we kicked 2 goals in the last minute, the last one off a 1000 to 1 soccer by Byrne-Jones?

The fact that that happened was the only reason we finished ahead of them on the ladder.



If the Byrne-Jones BS hadn't have come off, they end on 60 points, and so do we. But they have a higher percentage. So they finish second, us third. Since then we've lost Houston and Farrell, Butters has bruised ribs and Rozee is softer than Sorbent. We're playing like arse again, in our regular finals-mode (thanks Ken).

So the odds are probably a bit generous to us tbh. Only a miracle for Ken and some brilliance from JHF sees us win this.

They’ve won 15 games this season, and lost three by under a kick.

Good luck to them and all, and Sam Mitchell is clearly a young phenom as coach, but holy sh¡tballs is it sickening that a club that won 4 flags under the tutelage of Alastair Clarkson, is now poised to give it another serious crack while we’ve spent the better part of a decade flailing under the delusion Ken Hinkley is a premiership coach-in-waiting and the resultant ‘stability’ will see us through.

Unbelievable.
