According to AFL Table, Hinkley will coach his 273rd game of football on the weekend against Hawthorn without getting to a Grand Final.

Hinkley will be equaling Mark 'Choco' Williams games record for Port Adelaide which stands at 273. As we know Choco won a Grand Final in 2004 and the other one.

I don’t think we will win another game. The loss last week was the clubs second largest finals defeat ever in finals. The players were already mentally shot before the ball was bounced (ie Drew fumbling seconds into the match). As soon as the hawks get a run on the players will fold again and give up

But from that point I just can't fathom even the consideration to continue on with Ken next year? Pro Josh or not, he's done his apprenticeship 5 times over, has rejected multiple large club offers, has grown with this current crop of players and would have to be ready to go.

The club wanted him because they can brand it as a bit of a continuation of their strategy and don't really have to admit failure, but that being the case, just pull the chord and get it done?
