Even the numpties in the commentary box could see how futile the forward 50 entries were. To be fair to players like Dixon it's pretty hard to be an effective forward when you're forced to play markers up all game.

Sack Hinkley and whip him through the streets.

I know chewy will say I'm wrong but just spoke to my guy that's feeds me info/rumours he has been adamant for weeks that this year will be kens last year regardless of result of the season
He believes its still the case. The club will say its kens call and that ken and club believe that its better if josh gets his feet under the desk and take control of the young team sooner rather than later they will all shake hands and that will be it. Hope for your sakes its true.
To my understanding, Chewy has been saying a variation of the same thing. The only thing that would save him was either reaching a Grand Final or a close loss in the Prelims.

Let's hope both your source and Chewy's are proven right....sooooooon.

The best time to sack Hinkley was yesterday. The second best time to sack Hinkley is today.
The best time was nearly a decade ago.

I wish that this comes true bro but I still don't know why or how the club has decided yup Josh Carr is the one

Strongly disagree, best time to sack Hinkley was PF v Dogs in 2021. The precise time to sack him would've been at Half-Time.
You are incorrect.

He should’ve been told to **** off back to the Gold Coast at the end of 2017.

Bloody hell - being a port fan has been a tough caper for the last decade. Ken Hinkley just isn't the man. He would've been better suited to the 90s. Today's footy is just not his jam. He's too big and dumb.

Watching his press conference and he manages to fumble around for ten minutes and say absolutely dick all. No substance. "The season unfolds the way it does." Seriously?

It must be so galling for you guys to listen to shit like this year after year.

Hopefully he's gone soon and you guys can get some fresh voices in the rooms.

Hey mate what are you doing next year
Can you coach?

Well, in the end, it ended how we all knew it would, and how it so often ends against the better teams. We fall short. It happens every time under Hinkley, and it won't change. 12 years of evidence show it, this year's finals series further highlights it.

We weren't just beaten by Sydney and Geelong we were utterly belted by both of them. Two teams who are infinitely better coached than us, exposed the flaws in Hinkley's game plan in brutal fashion. I'd have this year's finals failure up there with the 2021 Preliminary final capitulation. Finishing second gave us the opportunity to take the easy path to a GF. Instead by halftime of the Geelong game we knew the ending to this movie. It was the same as it always is.

I tried during the finals to believe in the team, I really did. But deep down I knew how it would end. The club needs a change of coach and as much as the players claim he's a Father figure to them so do they. Until they get that they'll always fall short.

We also need to improve our list. Players like Narkle, McEntee, Burton, Ratugolea and Evans can't be playing against the best sides. They get exposed badly when the heat is on. But that falls back on the coach. He needs to trust his list more. The games Ratugolea played up forward should've gone to Lord or Visentini. Same with Dixon. Lorenz has more of a future than Evans and so on. The coach needs to trust those younger players so they can kick on.

In the end Hinkley has to go and this September showed him up once again.

Port v Richmond AO in 2017.

The Trengove/Rance idea and how we lost that flipping game.

The EF should have been nail in the coffin.

Koch/Cochrane ego bullshit, KT & his brass band rocking up on the Sunday to beg him to stay and match any offer.

Ken is going to outstay Koch, KT, Davies, Richardson etc

We are ****ed whilst this Circus goes on.
