Lets get on with it!
The thought of him going into a season with the public knowing it'll be his last is the biggest waste of everyone's time and money. It's a waste of everyone's time and money without them acknowledging it anyways. There's literally no sense to keeping him whichever way they try to paint it.Have done some digging this morning not saying the stuff i get fed is better than Chewys i dont think it is so take this with a grain of salt. Apparntley its 50-50 still if Ken will go or stay. If he stays we wont hear anything now but he will annouce before the start of next season, 2025 will be his last probably just prior to round 1 that way avoiding speculation during the season. Otherwise if he goes we will hear by Friday morning the latest.

Catch me in round one how bout dat
His parents probably didn't want him placed under the care of the Alberton cult leader and intervened.Apparently we've been working on getting him to the club for 18 months. Collingwood come in at the last minute and get the deal done. Kenny's salesmanship losing its charm.
Lol what a doucheI just asked if he was having some time off?? It's school holidays so I'm guessing yes he is. It wasn't a knock it was a question related to if he was going to be around when there was a bit going on at the club. Settle petal.
Difficult year for him. What about Port supporters who have had zero faith in their coaches ability for 5-10 years & had to listen to the constant incoherent dribble seeping from his mouth.Poor Kenny!!!! If it's been so tough for him, why didn't he walk away during the year? The other difficult thing for him is that he's been living in abject poverty on a pitiful $900k a year.......
Ken is a brilliant salesman.
Perryman has chosen Collingwood!
SACK HINKLEY!
Ryder and Dixon elevated their game once they joined Port.
I'm a bit bummed about missing out on him, but that's how I looked at it too. One can only hope.I'll take that Perryman choosing Collingwood is a good sign.
We all know how it ends, time & time again. How the club hierarchy aren't embarrassed about our finals performances is beyond me.It'd be so, so toxic. How does anyone celebrate a regular season win with Hinkley at the helm?
Someone said this on this board before and I can only echo it... No longer are decisions made for the good of the club - it's all about what's good for Ken.. How this man has taken our club and held it captive for the last 6 years (and ongoing) is nothing short of a disgrace..That's the problem, there's no decision to be made so they can hide from it. It's just bizarre that last year if we lost to Sydney then he was gone or if we lost to st kilda this year but after embarrassing finals losses year after year it's ah well. Like it's the most unprofessional joint around. Whoever put their hand up and agreed to extend him on an expiring contract should walk with him out the door. If this was any other club or business and you made a call that bad in their position you'd be expected to own it for the good of the business.
I'll take that Perryman choosing Collingwood is a good sign.
We just need to be more tolerant, and less volcanic .Difficult year for him. What about Port supporters who have had zero faith in their coaches ability for 5-10 years & had to listen to the constant incoherent dribble seeping from his mouth.

Also can't just cherry pick a couple of players that came in, what about the rest of them Krakouer, Watts etc.So did David Rodan under Choco and Brad Ebert under Primus. Jay Schulz under both.
Whatever positive direct effect Ken had on certain recruits’ play, it probably had more to do with health (Dixon, Polec, McKenzie) and role (Ryder, Aliir, White) in most of those cases.
Also can't just cherry pick a couple of players that came in, what about the rest of them Krakouer, Watts etc.
Which makes it an even dumber decision to keep him (if in fact he does stay). Under a new coach, I'd be extremely confident about us playing in September. We're stuck with him for next season. I'm not too disappointed with that - we will be going through a bit of a rebuild to cover retirements and trades. Don't expect finals next year.
