28 and half thousand there yesterday. Probably 10,000 more than what we needed. Coupled with a big win, is going to see the pressure off. What I can see happening here is we'll start playing better, probably winning more than we lose, still being in contention for finals for the rest of the year, which means Ken will just keep holding on. GWS, Gold Coast and West Coast will move on coaches, Clarkson will be snapped up and we'll be left holding our dicks and letting Hinkley coach in 2023 as the club hierarchy stating there being no viable alternative. You just know this is how its going to play out.
Just don't man, it makes me feel like diving to the bottom of a vat filled with industrial acid.

No way should he be given accolades for 'saving Port Adelaide'.
Yeah I genuinely get pissed off when Hinkley is praised as the saviour of Port Adelaide.
I'll be grateful for Hinkleys efforts along with MANY others for helping to restore some pride to club that was seemingly hanging on by a thread but 2013/2014 is a long time ago.
I find the media narrative that Hinkley saved Port Adelaide to be very 'lazy', it barely scratches the surface and most definitely undermines the many people and collective efforts that helped turn this club around.
There's so many people and circumstances that can be listed, too many to mention, I think the signatures of Jackson Trengrove and Travis Boak were a huge show of faith in the club at the time, arguably greater that Hinkley's influence especially in the case of Boak.

There were many volunteers who were not paid $800,000+ p/a who never got a mention.

It’s worse when our own supporters regurgitate it.

The asteroid had literally already been avoided before Koch/Thomas/Hinkley walked through the doors.

West Coast, for reasons we all know, were complete vomit yeasterday. There is not another team in the competition that will allow us to run riot like yesterday. I can only see wins against North and Essendon leading into the bye, and there isn't much let up after the bye either.

Melbourne — MELBOURNE — are an invincible powerhouse, having inefficiently but easily vanquished three-flags Richmond.

Meanwhile, at Alberton, we’re constantly gaslighted into a mythology that Ken Hinkley is a tortured genius.

F**king hell.

I've been given a copy of our new game plan, please keep it to yourselves.

Prior to last year, Melbourne last won a flag the same year as SOUTH ADELAIDE.

They were a basketcase as late as 2019.

We smashed them by 9 goals at the Gabba in 2020. Now we only SCORE 9 goals in a game when the opposition is ordinary, while the Dees seem to be marching towards back to back flags.
