The afl is all about making the game more open and high scoring?
Yet hinkleys allowed to coach a team to lead to pockets(2013-16) then make boundary throw ins (2017-19) and then finally kick to 1 giant contest for crash and bash footy(2020-2022) .
The afl should be encouraging port to Sack hinkley and other coaches who make these tactics there primary tactic.

Anyone see any similarities between Hinkley and Elizabeth Holmes, the CEO of what was then Theranos?

The tide is turning folks.
Barely 6 months ago any talk about Ken's job security was immediately squashed by the Victorian media. Tonight, neither Robbo or Gerard endorsed Hinkley and Robbo said he was in a "dogfight" to keep his job. Meanwhile on Footy Classified, Kane did everything to push the propaganda crap about Hinkley having reached 2 prelims the last 2 years. However, he then had a moment of lucidity when Leon Cameron's future was brought up. Kane said it had a similar feel to Hinkley's situation and that short of a grand final berth neither would be at their current positions next season.
I suspect the hammer is going to come down a lot faster than that. At 0-5 forget about grand finals, the club wouldn't even be able to make finals (short of defying history).
I spoke with one of Port's best ever AFL players over the weekend (who remain well connected to the club) - they too share their dislike of Hinkley but was very quick to assure me to hang in there - it's all coming to a head and the club is bigger than a few individuals, despite what some small minded bigots have us want to believe.
In times like this we must remind ourselves that we, the supporters, will be here long after Ken is sacked.

The tide absolutely is turning. We're 3 games into a season. In 2019 we couldn't get the media to talk about sacking him like we are now. Now the noise will get louder and louder with every loss.

Even if most to all people still conclude any discussion of Hinkley with flavour aid support and gaslighting, the fact it is now getting talked about is enough to get the ball rolling.
Ken won't like being talked about in anything other than glowing terms.

We are only 1 100+ belting away from sacking him. The players this Thursday can eradicate this man by putting in a preliminary type performance. The pressure will hit the ceiling. Keep the pressure up on all fronts. Relentless on socials. People are turning in numbers....

The day Ken is sacked I'm going down to Pirate Life to celebrate.
How embarrassing to think that he wasn’t even who the club wanted as a head coach to begin with in 2012.
Eade and Cameron both pulled out and he was the last one left.
Now the “last one standing” has miraculously managed to hang around for 10 years of very very little success.
There was obviously a reason no other club and even ourselves saw him as our primary target for a head coach and yet he’s still here!

Tim wants to go hard on Ken but like a good union man wont call out their corruption. You can do that through the 2017-2019 period but to still be doing that just shows how weak you are.
