Not to mention a coach who demands apologies from individual players for their on-field performance. And a bloke who thinks a sticker calling for him to be sacked after 10 years of meh crosses some line of decency. Imagine what he does to those who dare question him.

Just on this, the demand for an apology was not in the heat of the moment, it came a couple of days after the game. It was a Thursday night game. He demanded the apology on the Monday. Dude holds a grudge.

Exactly, right? I thought the big thing at the end of LAST season was (from Koch), ok, we failed again it sucks, but if we don't make finals NEXT year, he will be gone, wasn't that what was said, more or less?

This year rolls around, and that's all forgotten, what we get fed is "well, he's contacted for next year, sooo ....."

Can anyone with a better memory clarify?

Agree. This thread has become an echo chamber for the same people to scream and yell on the internet. Anyone who disagrees is immediately shut down as a "happy clapper" or "kampaigner" and so the same thing just happens again and again. Those who disagree stop commenting. Threads like these kill forums because the conversation reaches the lowest level and its just the same group saying the same thing. At this point the sign has actually encouraged long term members and fans to come forward and support the club - I've heard it again and again this week on SEN, 5AA, Triple M etc middle age blokes who wouldnt usually ring in have phoned to say they think it's embarrasing and not representative of the club they've supported for years. I've been a member of the PAFC since my parents signed me up over 40 years ago, I now pay for my kids 4 memberships. Watching that $200 a month get deducted makes me feel like I have every right to ring the club and tell them what I feel should be changed, I've spoken to Richo which I think shows that the club listens to its members - I don't reckon you'd get that accessibility with the Victorian club, maybe?

This for me leads to a critique of the moderation:

One moderator condones seemingly all that is posted on this thread and probably encourages it.
Another seems mainly interested in draft stuff which is fine and in the past gave good summaries.
The other seems to do a lot of the work on deleting individual post maybe etc.
As a disparate group there has been no noticeable setting, enforcing guidelines, standards, limits etc
As above is what the current “moderation” has come to be embarrassing, repetive and bullying

all signs point to ken being actually a bit of a shit bloke.

• the greyhound killing
• the tea in china
• the grudge holding and petulant behaviour
• getting angry and aggressive when challenged
• refusal to engage with supporters at member events (standing in the back with arms folded)

TJ: Ken has been enormous in supporting me since the day he’s arrived. His expectations are particularly high of the group. There’s not a day of the week he doesn’t expect the highest of you and he has driven us all in that space

If you don’t like it…leave.

I can assure you the vast majority support the moderators in this instance.

Scott has made finals in 11 of 12 seasons whilst Hinkley has made finals in 5 of 10 seasons.

Scott has made top 4 in 9 of 12 seasons whilst Hinkley has made top 4 in 2 of 10 seasons.

And then obviously you have 2 grand finals to 0, 1 premiership to 0 (as well as 2 premierships to 0 as a player).

And on current form it's 1st v 11th including them beating us twice this season.

Pretty incredible comparison to make.
