The club being quiet is most likely due to knowing they are probably keeping Ken, and he’s on the nose.

We’ll find out soon enough. One more loss.

From a selfish point of view, would love Port to win and help Carlton out in the finals jostling places with the Pies, but if you lose, I kind of hope you get smashed, cause I think it probably will only take one more horrific flogging for Kern's tenure to come to an end at Alberton.

If you finish the season/final four games with a 1-3 record (or worse) I honestly believe Ken is gone (you are not going to give him an extension it seems, and clubs these days very rarely go into a season with a coach coming out of contract at the end of the season)

It just really sucks as supporters you are forced to want your team to lose,in order for meaningful, significant and overdue regime change to happen (least from a coaching perspective)

We've seen the same patterns of behaviour from the club before. Dual captains is a good example. Constantly and for a very long time kept leading in with media and talk to try and put the fires out for an inevitably bad decision to be made. It's happening again. He's totally staying.

So they deliberately hamstrung his ability to coach after he made consecutive home prelim finals, when they had just given him an extension to 2023 at the start of last season?

Does that sound at all logical to you?
No.

That's why it's quite plausible a thing for the pafc

All over a sticker wow wee and the person who stuck the sticker is little and weak 🤷 nah.
We need the old make the whole team coaches and board stand in front of the members and get some real time feedback like old school up stairs at alberton days.
Don't think they could handle it to be honest.

The timing of the rooch article hammering again how bleak it was a decade or so ago.

*No problem with that article besides the timing.

Do we though? I couldn't care less. The Port Adelaide I knew would have laughed him out door long ago.
The Port we knew never had a person like Koche running things and was held accountable by its members. What we are seeing right now is a different playing field. Lets hope it turns a corner and we get our club back and is run by football people that have very good management skills.

when somebody of the experience and peer, team mates respect makes a strong statement like that above, i think it is worth taking notice. He is on the field taking the bumps and thumps, chasing players, blocking, tackling while we the spectator are safely in front of tv, stadium seat or standing. There is a physical risk taking to the field. rEference platten, sculTz. Also he would be very aware of what happens during the week, rehab, injury management etc. So for me his statement is very creditable.
So what you're saying is Charlie's comments are a sign of brain damage? Bit extreme but you might not be miles off.

What I hate the most about Hinkley and the current regime is they're eroding the values that made us the great club we were, the strive for success, accountability, the sheer non acceptance of mediocrity and the most of all the supporters. Keep fighting the good fight.
We've morphed into GWS.

The reality is they can be 'unbelievably connected' & in friendship rainbowland with a 55 year old coach (lol), but it hasn't produced results that's why these calls get taken out of the hands of those too close to it e.g. the players & coaching staff.

It doesn't matter how great you think it is in some isolated little bubble where you bat away criticism as the height of insensitive outside noise.. you are not delivering it's simple, it's broken.

Well if they are not listening I actually fear this is the end of Port Adelaide.

People will not renew we will be the kangaroos but without being a Victorian team.

We have been near here before with Williams. I am really scared they are going to play chicken with our club and actually kill it this time.
