Ken was unbelievably lucky they didn't kick something like 25.15.165. Maybe if they had, history would be a little bit different.

I was livid they didn't sack him directly after that performance. Instead, he was kept on and we got to lose an Elimination Final in embarrassing circumstances and repeat the process in the exact same fashion in the following H&A season.
They kicked 1.9 in the first quarter. I'd like to think if they kicked 9.1 he would've been sacked on the spot but who am I kidding.

Some zingers I remember in the post match presser:
  • Every side in the competition has had a bad loss this year, until today I said we weren't couldn't join them. That's what's so disappointing.
  • Integrity can be challenged, but the ladder still says we're 5th so we'll deserve to play finals at the end of the year and we're good enough.
  • We didn't work hard enough

100%. It had the exact same vibe as the Hawthorn mauling in 2011. From the off it was plainly obvious that we were strapped down, handcuffed and powerless, and it was all about how historically atrocious the margin was going to be.

In the end, it was exceedingly flattering. As noted, if the Crows had’ve been even slightly more efficient for their dominance it would’ve been a heavy triple-figures.

‘Rolling in their graves’-tier unacceptable.

But not to Kochie!

I probably wasn't giving it my full attention, but I thought they were suggesting he had reservations about GWS. May account for several discussions with them without actually committing yet.
He did,as in 4 players taking up around 30% of the cap for starters

I'd forgotten how bad that games was for us. That inside 50's difference must be a record. Like others have said if they had kicked straighter it would have been 100pts plus. My daughter and I stood on the hill for that game. Felt embarrassed walking past the scoreboard, out of the ground, on the train.

Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has also been linked to the role, along with assistant coaches Adam Kingsley, Adem Yze, Daniel Giansiracusa and former Adelaide coach Don Pyke. Fremantle assistant Jaymie Graham reportedly turned down the opportunity to interview for the role, while Ash Hansen has made it known he won't depart Melbourne after moving to Carlton from the Western Bulldogs to join Michael Voss at Princes Park.

Can we poach Craig McRae from the Wobblers to coach us?

It’s mindblowing that it’s taken 10 years and a bloke with a sticker for footy journos across the country to wake up and do their jobs.
If in our opinion that sticker was professionally made, the sticker person must have more, it would be very uneconomical just to make one.
Looking forward to more stickers, sticker person.
