• a NINE TIME premiership player/coach in Geof Motley after 2 unsuccessful years 1960/61
• a FOURTEEN TIME premiership player/coach in John Cahill after 2 AFL years 1997/98
• an Australian Football LEGEND and Port Adelaide GOAT in Russell Ebert after 5 years coach without a flag 1983/87

Their successors all took Port Adelaide to a flag.

Now a shadow of that great club that tolerates a coach with a decade with not even a GF.

I’m livid for you all.

Koch finally started talking sense (overdue but better late than never) about Hinkley this week.

What happens? The frankly weird “no coach can ever get sacked” media machine kicks into gear and starts gaslighting and insulting fans like yourselves that have the “audacity” to question why you have to put up with a coach who will clearly not deliver a Premiership AFTER 10 YEARS.

And then Koch backs down to the media mob who have an obsession with telling fans that Hinkley is an amazing coach.

I’ve never seen the likes of this Hinkley circus before. You, Port fans are not crazy, it is this weird AFL media and the way they control the industry.

I hope as many of you as possible cancel memberships tomorrow to show the club exactly who are the crazy ones here. Not the gaslit fans, but Hinkley, his media cheerleaders, and Koch for not being able to stand up to them.

We have to guess which round Hinkley walks out as the pressure becomes too much or which round Koch comes to his senses and sacks him.

There is no way Hinkley will last the entire season.

You negative Nellys should just go and find a new club! Kenny has fully earned the right to go around again and try and turn it around!
This year we had some bad luck losing Scotty Lycett and Dixon for most of the year, injuries aren't Ken's fault! Let's not forget he's taken us to the prelims the last 2 years, not bad for a little club from Alberton!

It's a tough competition, there's 17 other clubs out there trying to achieve the same thing as us, and every year 17 clubs have to lose.

I reckon Ken is a fantastic coach and he should get another 8 years, because the minimum rate of winning a flag should be one in 18 years.

And bring back Jake Neade

! He was such a good small forward for us, remember when he came on as substitute against the west coast eagles and won the game for us? Why did we delist him??
