No club with an independent board is making that choice, which involves a pay rise (!) or an offer of a two year minimum term. The only AFL-controlled club board that might do the deed is a seemingly pointless Gold Coast* junior development franchise being told to wind up in two years or so to make way for TAS… and take on a noted junior-mentor type coach in the interim to help place as many of the outgoing players as possible.
