Scrapes into finals = extension
If it is done at the end of the season and they are happy with that, then I’ll make another decision.

The only thing I won’t be able to handle is them extending him mid season.

Statistically speaking he's a 50/50 chance of making finals, but doesn't perform under pressure.

By August the question will be who can we find that's better than Josh Carr

I'm just waiting for him to leave at this stage and have been since we lost the home EF in 2017.

My interest in our club is dissolving with every passing season and there were many times last year where I felt depressed when we won and upbeat when we lost. The latter because it may mean Donuts goes.

I'm no longer barracking for the club I once loved but just waiting for Ken & Co to depart ASAP and give me my club back.

I was there at home games all throughout 2008-2012 and cared much, much more back then than I do now.

I've forgotten what it's like to be excited before the season starts with a fresh coach, captain or gameplan.

Thinking back to 2013...eagles at AAMI. Jake Neades "neade for speed" moment and bullet pass. The absolute high of that year was amazing. Then 2014 was the business year where it was about getting it done, and we nearly did.

Then 2015 came and all the wheels fell off, not a damn thing has changed since. Every year we got more boring, more frustrating and the same deficiencies carrying over year on year. We have basically been exactly the same team for 7 or 8 years now despite large list turnover. Our consistency in being shit in the same areas each year is quite frankly impressive. As is the way we win and the way we lose. You can set your watch to things. We never surprise, win or lose because we have seen everything under Hinkley and each game unfolds exactly the way you think it will. There are still the same rollercoaster ups and downs at high speed. Trouble is you have been on it for so long you know exactly where the rises, twists, falls, turns are that you can go to sleep on it.

Thats PAFC of the last decade. Fun early, same old, same old thereafter to the point its some groundhog purgatory. The whole thing is on rails with immutable outcomes.

It's all made even more unbearable by people like Koch and Richardson who have an uncanny ability to take apathy and make it furious boiling anger by daring to suggest we aren't real supporters and should be enjoying our 500000th ride on the exact same rollercoaster of failure.

“We all understand a performance industry and we’re not naive to that. But what we do know is that nothing’s achieved by making silly decisions or crazy decisions"

"Eleventh year doesn’t matter in some ways."

"Ultimately [ken's future] it goes to the club and the board... but it will be a joint discussion with confidence in each other to do the right thing"

“What can we achieve? Who knows in a really tight, tough competition"

What a deadset selfish loser.

In ten years time when all this has passed, who here thinks that Hinkley will still be connected to the club? Attending functions, dropping in, meeting past players etc. I just can't see it happening. He's a mercenary and as such will milk this cow until it's a dried up pile of jerky.

Don’t kid yourself, Ken will still be our senior coach in 10 years time.

Not a chance. Once he leaves he will not look back. He'll snuggle in with the vic media eventually taking carefully worded swipes at this state and the club. In reality, Port will just remind him of what a undisputed, record breaking failure of a coach he was.

When it's over he'll piss off back to Yokelville Victoria never to be seen again.

Ken is pulling a LeBron he just wants to coach with his son

He sure as hell won't be coming back for any premiership reunions.
