Where is this 3.5 good quarters nonsense come from other than the loser himself Kenny. 1) they are talking as if staying with a *ing trash crows team for 3.5 quarters is something to hang your hat on and 2) we sucked for 3.5 quarters and then really *ing sucked in the last half a quarter.

We’ve played really good for a half of 6 games including pre season so far.

We didn't even play well for those 3 quarters. The Crows were the better team all night & anyone with half a footy brain could see what was going to happen in the last quarter, the Crows threatened to do it towards the end of the third.

The fact they all think we played well is a major concern. And the other nugget from Ollie that teams have worked them out. No Ollie it's not recent it's been like that for 10 bloody years. Teams worked Hinkley out back then and he still tries the same style of footy.

The club is one of the dumbest sporting organisations I've ever seen and heard from. Completely tone deaf and oblivious to the obvious.

We are looking pretty good for that, maybe we could do a coach swap ... no wait.
I'd like the opportunity to finish bottom after winning a flag - won't happen under Ken........

*COVID Cup

Don't pretend it's the same thing.
Mate I would have happily won one during COVID - 2020 PF against Richmond still burns in the gut as being the one that got away!!!

Remember, Ollie said, “it was still a successful year in terms of win-loss” shortly after dipping his head to accept the Brownlow.

I don’t whether this stems from Hinkley, the Mindfulness Consultant, club spin doctors or groupthink from a leadership group helmed by Tom ‘here’s a picture of me skiing to help refute criticism of Ollie’s preseason wakeboarding injury!’ Jonas, but wowee.

Some fresh perspective is needed immediately before anyone else is infected with this garbage.
Which is why we desperately need someone like Hardwick to be the next coach. There's more chance of me barracking for the Poms during the Ashes series, than there is of Hardwick putting up with some of the crap that has infiltrated the club in recent years - certain people who are currently so comfortable in their lethargy under Hinkley would be in for one almighty shock.

I think people stress way too much about it - we would have lost to Geelong in the GF.

I reckon the one that got away was 2014 - because we could have beaten Sydney.

Ryan Burton didn't get the memo

Re-education has been scheduled.

I know I've been joking that the club seems like a cult but what it actually seems like is a political party that has been given its daily talking points that they need to echo word-for-word. I don't think we have a designated PR spinner on staff but someone is moonlighting as one. Either that, or its been contracted out to Hinkley's management team.

Sad but I agree. I'm convinced Kochie comments about Tredders having to learn about the club is a true reflection of Koch's values for the club.

I suspect in Kochie's eyes, Tredders is tied to the old PAFC values and of no use to the club now.
PAFC est 2012 is a different club, it stands for P&L not W-L and Balance Sheets not Premiership

Two sides that won't play finals getting 48k would make Kochie and the AFL all warm and fuzzy inside.

I can almost picture Kochie arguing a steady regular 30k crowd that's nice and civilised is easy to buget for and beats a demanding membership base that drops off with results.

Easier to just cut costs and still turn a profit than invest in a high risk, high rewards strategy.
Koch is a typical narcissists.

If people don't agree with him it must just be because they don't understand as well as he does.

We were offered overs for both Hartlett and Lobbe. We turned it down because they were in the boys club. Now they are in charge of the players development. Hows that going? The place is rotten.
I wonder whether we offered them post career employment as part of the package to get them to stay?

Hey Jarrod Walsh, please don't speak on our behalf.

We do not expect to win every game!

We expect effort and endeavour in every game.

We expect the best team to be picked for each game.

We expect the coach to actually make some changes during the game, not only have the players representing him.

We expect mediocrity to not be accepted.

And yes 2010-2012 were bad years, but, as has been well documented, things were put into motion well before Hinkley and for that matter Koch. You might say, Hinkley was the lucky guy who inherited that team at the right time, with a new fitness regime and a promise of a better future with the move to Adelaide Oval.

Absolutely this. Haysman, Duncanson, Primus set this up with hard work and SACRIFICE, personal and professional. Hinkley, Koch, Davies, Thomas, Richardson you freeloading hacks, I hate every single one of you.

Not taking that way overs offer for Lobbe was akin to turning down a couple of million for a 5 yo gelding that was struggling to win a maiden at Murray Bridge.

Lol why is everyone getting worked up with the players backing the coach? Are we seriously expecting them to bag him???

They could come and say: “The coach is awesome. I am the problem. I’m not good enough to play for Kenny nor for Port.

Lol..a report that Ken is coaching well..WTAF!

Sack Hinkley 8 - Kill Me
It probably came from Ollie Wines who was all over SEVEN News last night telling us criticism of Ken was unfair and he was doing a good job.

It is nothing new as back in July '22 Wines was backing Kem amid rumours of unrest. I guess the players are not likely to come out and can the current Coach.
