If he wins there'll be more wiggles than at a colourful kids concert.
If he can guide a team featuring Lord, Teakle, Jonas and McKenzie to a win over a team featuring Gawn, Grundy, May and Lever, he deserves to windmill.

I called this, last year, Port would bounce back during the home and away season, and Port's management would give him another contract extension, before finals, to get him cheap, "before other clubs try to sign him up for more money". Also, Port go on to miss the GF and are stuck with more seasons of GF misses with Donuts.
Why do you hate us so much!!! What did we ever do to you!!??

He'll coach you next year

Pffft seriously, how many times have we been down this road. Pump the crap team because our players are superior, play against a talented team and the game plan fails.

Stupidity is continuing to do the same thing expecting to get a different result.

Port would be better off no matter what trying to sign Adam Simpson up, for 2024. He'd be at a lower value atm, and he's a premiership coach and has 2 GF appearances, just needs a premiership window list like Port. And like Grant Thomas said, Port need a successful coach, not donuts to take advantage of that list's potential.

7-2 but it’s gonna be tough from here on with the draw we have
Yeah just had a look. There really isn't anything you'd call an "easy" game in our oncoming fixture at all aside from Hawthorn in a few weeks (and we know what happened last year).
Melbourne H
Richmond A
Hawks H
Dogs A
Geelong H
Bombers A
Suns H
Carlton A
Collingwood H
Showdown A
Geelong A
GWS H
Freo A
Tigers H

That is a seriously hard farken draw. The only game you would pencil in with a high degree of certainty would be Hawthorn (and again we know what happened last year)

There are no guarantees we play finals.

I would point out Hawks, Bombers, Suns, and Carlton.

The rest is 50-50 at best.

Carn, Richmond, GWS and Freo have all been pretty poor this year.
Other than Melbourne, Collingwood, Brisbane and Geelong if they get players back the rest of the league is pretty average.
More likely we'll have a strong H&A season and fall over in finals again

Best case scenario is probably that we make top 4 at end of minor round, we offer him 1 year extension, he refuses it and then we p1ss him off, tthen Carr coaches in Finals.

Then we do a full application process in the off season.
