Still second on the ladder, and still a sniff in the finals. Hate all you want, but facts dont care for your melts. Wait until the seasons done before carrying on about a loss
If you seriously think we're any hope in September, you're dreaming. If we keep playing like we have tonight, we'll exit in straight sets.

I actually really hope we re-sign him. So I can jump off this shit once and for all and stop worrying about this pathetic excuse for a sport.

I think our season is done mate.

Like to be proven wrong. But we are beaten sore and... Believe it or not... Hinkley is as useful as **** on a bull.

My theory is that Josh Carr has been coaching and realised he is doing to good of a job and was gonna get stinkley an extension... So is pulling the wrong moves on purpose so kinky hinky gets sacked.

Yeah I'm clutching at straws but what else do we have..

Sack Hinkley!!!

Remember 2013 where we had all those losses in a row, then it just clicked. You never know.

Last time I checked... We didn't win the premiership in 2013

I'm all for sacking Hinkley, but it would be intellectually dishonest for people on this board to give Carr credit for the 13 in a row and solely blame Hinkley for the losses. All those people claiming they know Carr is actually the one coaching should be lumping this on him. At least be consistent. I think Hinkley had a part in the 13 wins and he has the same part in the losses. So did Carr. Sack Hinkley but be consistent in the criticism.

Of course he had a part. His one-on-one coaching/inspo/player-whispering in the moment was a breath of fresh air compared to the usual stunned mullet soda-gargling behind a pane of glass — which also allowed Carr and Bassett more of a free hand to make tactical moves and respond to opposition strategy free of such paralysis.

But, whatever boost his sideline coaching provided was always going to decline as the novelty of having Ken on the bench wore out, and players got sick of his presence/voice — it’s all fun and games when Florent’s kick falls short or Houston’s kick falls true.

One heartbreaker bookended by a pair of pumpings and Kenny’s no longer dancing and carrying on like the life of the party to vindicate his words and messages.

Beyond that, clearly 11 seasons of whatever failings are deeply-ingrained in this club still remain.

The night games. The slow starts. The blowing of leads. The complete lack of clutch gene under pressure and in key moments.

Carr’s not an exorcist.

Most likely true based on history, but a couple of losses and calling.for a Monday sacking is hysterics getting the better of people.
