In hindsight, from the time that Koch described supporters discontent as "white noise" and Hinkley backed it up with "the ten percent", to counter this, it's a pity that there wasn't a campaign launched to send a loud response to challenge it. By the end of last year, the support of it may have snowballed to a substantial volume of supporters, which places a number to the discontented amount of supporters, rather than the minimising that it cops by the club and those media Hinkley dick lovers.

Perhaps it feels all too futile now to start a response, but history of failure could repeat itself and the club could extend Hinkley again. We've been through the 'surely they won't extend him again' situation several times already.

We've witnessed enough of David Koch to not ignore his statement about making Hinkley a 20-year coach.

The bad new is nothing is going to change for the next two years and pretty much until Koch is no longer Chairman of the club.

His football values are very different to the values of the Port faithful. The idea of winning finals is obviously there but it is not the major concern of Koch. It would take too much moxie and effort.

There is nothing we can do. Scratch that. The only thing you could do is sully his reputation as that is the only thing he cares about.

Now, when he leaves, he will make sure he has his person in place. If I was a betting man, I'd say she was sitting next to him at the game last week. Yes, the next Chairwoman of the Ken Hinkley Footy Club is Holly Ransom. Can you imagine?

Koch has zero accountability. Koch has ultimate power. Koch has the AFL on his side. Koch wants an easy run as do the coaching and playing staff. When winning is bought up, it is sideswiped to mediocre oblivion and media double-speak. They really should be ashamed of themselves.

Their only real problem is the pesky supporters who want to win Premierships and win, win, win finals. It serves as a reminder for them of how poor they are at their jobs. If we went out in straight sets and the fans thought that was an awesome year, they would be happy.

Now I truly know what it is like to support Glenelg, St Kilda or even worse, the Crows. Selfish administration who don't love the club as much as their bank balance and ego.

And I think that's what hurts the most. The Port Adelaide faithful really love the club and everything it stands for and Koch, Hinkley and Richardson obviously don't love the club and want to tear down everything that is unique and great about the club. And it makes sense, those guys didn't really earn their positions at the club. They are not Port Adelaide.

Koch will go down as the worst Chairman not just of the Port Adelaide Football Club but possibly in living memory in the AFL. We are talking the Holy Grail of both lack of winning finals success and longevity.

Its just a sad day.
