Not a fair comparison. Hinkley is going into year 12, McDaniels just year 2. And whilst it's pretty clear McDaniels isn't up to it, he's not going to afforded much more time. Further to that, I know that Mark Davis will spend whatever is necessary to bring highly regarded people into the Raiders facility. Can't recall the last time Port headhunted and got some highly regarded people into the building who others were trying to get since the 2013-14 period of Alan Richardson, Darren Burgess and Phil Walsh.

In less than three hours the club send an email, sms, multiple social media posts, I think I have seen five separate twitter posts today from Port celebrating the Boak news…Yet we have not heard a single thing from the Senior Coach in three weeks taking any responsibility for another failed season. I guess unless it good news or wishing someone a happy birthday it is a case of nothing to see here.
