It has been touched on here previously, but I heard from a usually reliable source not connected to this site that the fall out between kern and Schofield is just about beyond repair.
I have never seen such such a dysfunctional coaches box. No interplay between the coaches, Ken silent and stony faced, hands only unfolded when reaching for the Coke Zero security prop. They are not one team.

Who would want to be a mod at the moment.. new sack kkk threads popping up everywhere and every 2nd thread turning into a sack hinkley thread anyways.

PAFC will be hiring soon will need more people to keep an eye on bf/Facebook.

I physically can't listen to the Hinkley/Wheatley interview. I can hardly bring myself to listen to Ken talk full stop now.

GremioPower's closed thread has stopped me starting a new thread titled - Playing young players leads to inconsistency, a 2019 Bullshit excuse for our failure.

Because we have played all of Butters, Rozee and Duursma in nearly every game, bar 1, Ken and others are saying this is the reason for our inconsistency. Its total BS.

Take those 3 out, who usually every week, one is in our best 1st-8th players, the other in our 9th-16th players and the other in our bottom 6 players and the inconsistency is there in the other 19 who took to the field. That's not the kids causing inconsistency.

We have had 23 players play at least 9 of the 17 games. Apart from the 3 above and Drew, all were recruited into the AFL system in 2015 or earlier. Most of those under 100 games haven't been the one who have been highly inconsistent. Its the older blokes.

Injuries have contributed more to the inconsistency. As has bloody dopey selections.

I flew back from Melb. on the same flight as the coach and team (2 rows behind Hinkley). We're always told that the players feel the loss as much as we do. Well that certainly didn't apply to Jonas and Rockliffe who engaged in wrestling with each other in the row in front of the coaches. Oh, and a quick little game of hide the shoe which Ken joined in. I was sad, angry and disappointed at the same time.

The sub forum Gremio speaks of should be for all Port Adelaide subjects that aren't related to Sacking Hinkley, not the other way around.

That reminds me of how the players were behaving in the qantas club and on the flight back to Adelaide in 2003 after the prelim loss to Collingwood. I was absolutely disheartened and disgusted 😒

This is now the Sack Hinkley Board on BigFooty.

If you want to discuss football, head to Black Diamond Corner.

I'm hearing Voss isn't looking like a front runner for the Carlton gig. That it was more him chasing them than them chasing him. Good luck to him wanting to take the senior coaching challenge on again but with all due respect if he stays here it further complicates our coaching unhappy-not-go-round.

If Voss left for one reason or another and freed up some budget we might offer Schofield greater responsibilities ... while everybody waits Ken out.

Thing is I know nothing of how "hands in" Kochie's ego is being with all this. Based on his oddly strong public statements over the last two years the conventional "wisdom" here is that Kochie has "overcommitted" himself to Ken... so it seems out of character that he'd let his own "recruit" Voss go, in order to keep Schofield, but if keeping Schofield gives us a way to minimize the damage Ken is doing and make a planned but long transition... well most folks would park their ego, wouldn't they?

I wish we could just promote Ken out of harm's way to "director of Coke operations" already. Let Schofield be Schofield.

We were inconsistent last season, and the season before that, and the season...

As Glen Frey once said -
The heat is on, on the street
Inside your head, on every beat
And the beat's so loud, deep inside
The pressure's high, just to stay alive
'Cause the heat is on
After that I'd rather stay home Saturday night and watch Beverly Hills Cop then go to the game.

I really hope KT, Kochie and co aren’t being sucked in by the opinion of certain players backing of Ken (but I get the feeling they are)

Eg we are led to believe that co-captain Wines and figurehead Dixon adore and speak highly of Ken. Ken even made that reference at one of the BnF’s that Dixon begged Ken not to take the Gold Coast offer.

They'd be the first out.

So then why is Sam Mayes, a former top 10 pick who actually has more than one game of good SANFL form behind him and who could actually fill a need for us with his ability on the outside, still sitting in the SANFL with zero senior games played for the club?
Yep. I don’t think that I can explain any of this, without getting shitty, just trying to stay logical.

What, you mean that song isn't by Kenny Loggins?!
