I think there is truth in the rumour. Ken will walk away if we dont play finals. Whilst playing finals is still a possibility, the view is there is not much point moving him on now.

If we go and lose our next 4 (which could happen), then i reckon it will happen early.

Well, my pain is finally over for the year.
I will be in Europe enjoying the next 8 weeks instead of sitting in the cold watching this miserable abortion of a game plan.

My hope is when I return for the final round I'll get to see us spank the Dockers with a new coach in place not a ****ing clueless clown.
My heart goes out to you all over the next rounds but I'm sure you will take solace in the thought of me soaking up the northern hemisphere summer for the next 2 months!

Having said all that, I still want us to win so if we happen to get on a massive winning streak Ill be over the moon, I just cant see it :-(

Even with a good coach and a good group of players that don't have flat performances once every 2 weeks, winning 6 of the last 8 with a tough run home is probably too hard regardless.

that after match presser was a joke, Ken's pretty much said "we arent good enough and i dont have the answers but we will keep trying, ive tried 5 or 6 different ways and the results are the same" Yes Ken you are right, so maybe remove yourself from the position as head coach and let someone else try, i cant believe the board is putting up with this after 5 years, thats right 5 years of below standard results.

we cant afford not to sack him, from a cultural point of view, from a financial point of view and from a results point of view. All those things are going down hill fast and to keep Ken at the helm will just erode all that even more and we will be in a worst position than we are right at the moment. The only option is to sack him as far as im concerned, to keep him is suicide

I would love Schofield as head coach but I can’t see it happening.

Partially as he has barely been in the AFL coaching system and only under Ken, and partially because he won’t want to coach his son.

i feel like i read the same things every second week. I guess eventually one of these embarrassing losses will be the final straw but he still has 2 years to run on his contract and keith and Kock are still in charge, with absolute morons like Amanda vanstone on the board that enjoy spunky losses and encourage us completely jaded fans to stay the course we've been on for 7 years for no results.
